Each day, I am inspired by the innovative spirit, resilience, and determination of my fellow female engineers. We are breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and proving that gender is no limit to greatness. As we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, we are reminded of the outstanding achievements of women engineers around the world and of the importance of diversity and inclusion in the engineering field. We asked Brittany Argueta, a Process Development Engineer for Harland, what being a woman in engineering means to her: "Being a woman in engineering means breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations. My advice to aspiring women engineers is to stay curious, persevere through challenges, and never underestimate the power of your voice and ideas." Yesterday was International Women in Engineering Day and this year the theme was “Enhanced by Engineering.” The focus this year was to spotlight the women engineers that enhance lives every day. According to the Women’s Engineering Society, only 16.5% of engineers are women and we want to change that. It is a part of our mission to make space for women in the industry and champion the women that ensure the delivery of our expert service at Artic.
