Strategy and Planning Responsible for the design, planning, development, and successful launch of applications, features, and enhancements in a Business Unit aligned portfolio. Define the strategy required and align to a roadmap of projects and initiatives for the next 12 months. Majority of the focus will be in the 3-6 month window but must not lose sight of overall strategy and roadmap to maximize business value and customer impact. Provide strategic vision and direction to the cross-functional teams that report to this role. Point of contact for the discussion and negotiation for implementation contract services. This includes both software and services. Facilitate and lead, where expertise or ownership exists, application governance process across the Integrated Customer Experience department to gain consensus on a prioritized set of measurable business outcomes that applications must support. Provide leadership, vision, and direction to your team to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals. Support the development of a unified IT strategy in the context of the business strategy. Develop productive relationships with business leaders across the organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value. Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement. Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers to that they deliver cost-effective solutions which meet the needs of the organization. Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations for improving current methods and practices. Identify organizational and process strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement to address and resolve implementation issues. Implement the changes to demonstrate overall improvement of the team's ability to deliver. Ensure a detailed succession plan is in place for both individuals and core skills to ensure sufficient staff depth is in place to meet the needs of the business. Partner with business leadership regarding risks, objectives, and process improvements. Actively engage business management to ensure business needs and expectations are met. Embrace innovation and continuously improve your approach and your team. Set goals and maintain alignment with business and IT leadership expectations. Able to prepare and present IT solution recommendations, status updates, and business value propositions to the highest levels of business and IT leadership. Advanced skills in presentation material creation and delivery of presentation. Acquisition and Deployment Responsible for the day-to-day management of the application organization a
