Hello Connections... Through this post I would like to be aware of you all related to the Meesho application and the way they used to fool their customers. Moreover, their Meesho Support team who all are completely trained to put the call on hold and never come back again or give a generic reply that we can't help you at all. But as we all say if roots are not good then we should not blame the branches of the tree. If the Founder and CEO Vidit Aatrey of the company didn't even bother to reply to their customers then how can we expect at least a reply from their support team. Recently I got promoted to a new position at Meesho. Surely such occasions are a moment of happiness when your work is recognized. But the thing that stood apart from the usual was when surprisingly a few days back my parents received the following letter, acknowledging their and family's efforts in playing a major role for this success. They were truly delighted and wanted to appreciate the gesture. I always believe in giving companies another chance. But with Meesho, I've faced disappointment not just once,but twice. On both occasions, instead of receiving the product I carefully picked out and ordered, I was delivered something entirely different. Imagine the surprise and frustration of expecting one thing and getting another. Now, Meesho promises that you can return items if they make a mistake. But when it came time to act on that promise, it felt like they changed the rules in the middle of the game. When I tried to return it, the pickup guy said it wasn't what I ordered. So, I turned to consumer affairs for help. Meesho's response? A call saying they can't assist. I'm left wondering: Why offer a return policy if you're not going to stand by it? This isn't just about receiving the wrong item or about the money spent. It's about trust and doing business with integrity. I urge caution when deciding where to spend your money. I tried to give Meesho another chance, thinking everyone deserves it, but they proved me wrong and lost a customer. To Meesho: Either send me the correct item or take back what you wrongly sent. I implore all to tread cautiously and make well-informed decisions while shopping online. Our trust and money warrant respect and accountability from businesses. And for those who think this might be an isolated incident, a simple online search will reveal a slew of complaints regarding Meesho's deceptive practices.
