Started my marketing firm almost 2 years ago, didn't know how, or when it'll take off. Got frustrated, had to be patient. CRIED ALOT in the first year; thought my efforts weren't cutting it. Started looking for jobs again; then I landed my first UK based client. It took off from there. Still face adversity and unpredictability every now and then, and it this perspective, with patience, is exactly how it has worked for me. Thanks for the reminder Meenah Tariq. 😉

I have another word for this “Proof of suffering” If you want a job in marketing, what’s your proof that you have suffered enough in this field and are ready to go to the next level? If you want a job in sales. What’s your proof you have suffered enough with clients? If you want a job as a developer. What’s your proof that you have suffered enough to build a quality product Don’t just show your interest and curiosity, show your suffering. Because if you don’t, someone else will. I recognise that “Suffering” is a strong word. But suffering shows ambition, learning and growth mindset. Our CVs are a great representation of our work suffering. If you have suffered enough, show proof of your suffering to win your next opportunity ❤️💛💚💙
