You never know when a contribution to an #OSS project could come! You attend a #meetup, you meet the @testcontainers for #golang maintainer, you're happy because you use with AuthZed's #SpiceDB in your own projects, you enjoy a nice dinner including Spanish tortilla and croquetas, and you decide to contribute a community module for the project. Easy peasy. Thank you Guillermo Mariscal for your community work 🙇♂️ https://lnkd.in/dPiNBysZ

Ever wondered how you achieve code coverage for unreachable code? Some sections of your code might be defensive or on an infeasible path that means they can't be reached via requirements-based tests. These code sections need to be manually reviewed and flagged as covered via analysis. In RapiCover, we call these "justifications". They can be created from user-defined templates to save time. What if my code changes - will I lose my justifications and their code position? What's even smarter about RapiCover justifications is that when your source code changes your justifications are automatically moved. If RapiCover isn't certain about the new position it will suggest the most likely new position and you can simply review the suggestion. When you're dealing with a large code base this simple feature can save you hours of manual review when dealing with source code changes. It's a qualifiable feature too! Here's the video -> https://lnkd.in/etJqv99r If you'd like to try the feature for yourself, please just message me and I can provide a Free Trial of RapiCover. #embeddedsystems #embeddedsoftware #softwaretesting #DO178C #ISO26262

Today, I'd like to introduce you to a project I've been working on - a Wordle game that I created a few months ago for practice. After some recent cleanups and unit test integration using vitest (https://vitest.dev/), I'm excited to share it with you all. Feel free to play around with it here at https://lnkd.in/g-an2ExZ. You can also check out the code at https://lnkd.in/g7s53RXG. Overall, there were some nuances from setting up vitest, but it was pretty straightforward, and it writes very similarly to jest. It automatically runs in watch mode, which updates instantly. I would suggest you give it a try. However, if you're considering migrating existing projects with a substantial number of tests, it's worth giving it a second thought. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Have you worked on similar projects recently, or do you have any questions about the development process? Let's connect and chat about software development, testing, or anything else you're passionate about! #WordleGame #SoftwareDevelopment #Frontend #React #Vitest #Testing

Happy Thursday! Recently released is version v0.2.1 of Lula with some exciting updates. 🚀 With the addition of the Kyverno Provider, users can now write Validations using Kyverno or Open Policy Agent as the provider for policy evaluation. 🛠 Building on foundations by restructuring the Validation format to be more intuitive and extensible. ⚙ External validation support means you can now write and store validations in files on a local filesystem, git or other storage mechanisms for re-use. As always - please reach out and/or file issues for anything not responding accordingly. Drop a ⭐ on the project if you want to stay-tuned to future updates. Link to the repo in the comments below 👇
