Predictive and Visionary Innovation: Analytical Mastery in Complex Scenarios | Former Sales Manager at Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and Country Manager/Co-Founder at tech startups in Eastern Europe and Mexico.
Anticipating opponents' moves with predictive algorithms in a water bottle, England's soccer team has gained a strategic advantage—turning every sip into a tactical edge. This approach allowed recently their goalkeeper to predict where each Swiss player would shoot during the penalty shootout, ensuring their victory. Detailed notes on the Swiss penalty takers, taped to his water bottle, enabled Jordan Pickford to save the decisive penalty from Manuel Akanji, who shot left as anticipated. #Euro2024 #PredictiveAnalytics #InnovativeStrategy #FootballData #BusinessStrategy #AlgorithmicDecisionMaking

Last week I presented to Weightmans Wednesday on everyday AI, the organic infiltration we have accepted, and may not notice, and with it the bias it brings! This video is fantastic at summing up the caution we need to take now, with GenAI! #biasawareness #genai

Biases are everywhere….even on internet search engines. ‘Who scored the most goals in international football?’ IWD has come and gone again and this video shows just how much we still need to do. What ‘facts’ are we feeding our children? Which men are our allies?

#RBApreview #EURO2024 #England leans heavily on the attacks from the right flank, yet the share of attacks that lead to shots is only 10%. #Netherlands also attacks through the right flank a bit more but their shot rate is even lower at 8%. For both teams attacks through the centre yield the highest share of shots (25% for #NED and 12% for #ENG), with attacks through the left flank yielding 18% for the Dutch and only 8% for the English. Jordan Pickford is known for his long passes. He is responsible for 47% of the team's long passes (87/185), whilst Bart Verbruggen is responsible for 39% (38/96). Pickford is not only prolific but also very accurate in long goal kicks (22/23 accurate vs Verbruggen's 4/5), but when it comes to long passes from open play, his accuracy drops significantly: 67% accuracy (43/64), vs Verbruggen's 85% (28/33).
