I am thrilled to share our latest company update straight from Jim O'Rourke! One of the reasons I joined this company was its commitment to transparency from the top down. This deck was shared with our whole organization this week and gives a little insight into our model and how we operate. Check out the slides below for a sneak peak! Some of the highlights are as follows: 🚀 Team Development: Our exceptional team is the cornerstone of our success. Their talent and determination is contagious! 🌐 Strategic Acquisitions: Adding new ventures that perfectly align with our vision and growth strategy. A lot more to come here! 🎯 Staying True: Staying in the lane that has propelled us to where we are today - centered on core products and fostering growth in our digital agency. 🙌 Company Culture: We are committed to creating a positive culture of growth and long-term commitment. If you are considering a change in careers or exploring new opportunities, feel free to send me a note. Let's have a quick chat to explore if we can be a good fit for you! #culture #growthmindset #teamdevelopment
Sharing our company update meeting that we did with employees this week. We have such an impressive group of people. And oh yeah, today we're celebrating our 5-year anniversary as a company. It's been an amazing journey so far, and its super-exciting to carry on and continue expanding to 100 markets over the next five years, most likely sooner! 2 weeks ago I celebrated my 8th anniversary at Anyline Here are some learning for everyone, who isn't sure if he/she/they is qualified enough for a job or company. My journey so far was quite a roller coaster. From a team of 15 to team of 100, from internship to leading a team. There will be never an easy, linear way within your career - but exactly this makes it exciting. These are my learnings so far from my 8 years journey: 11.2015 Internship Design & Marketing It took me 3 weeks to apply for this internship, because I didn't know anything about OCR, SDK, or the software business overall and wasn't sure if I fit. Learning: If you don’t try, you will never now. 02.2016 Product Designer After 3 months of internship, the team saw my potential and hired me. It didn’t matter that I didn’t know about our products when I started, but it did matter that I was highly motivated to learn about it and contribute to the companies success. Learning: A really good leader sees your potential and supports it. 01.2017 Brand Manager My passion was always in branding and creating awareness. With the culture we have at Anyline I talked to my team lead and I got the possibility to develop myself further. Learning: There will be no change, if you don’t speak up for yourself. 01.2019 Senior Brand Manager I started to have a small team of designers and event managers and started to do less design by myself, as I realised my strengths are within other areas. Learning: Accept your strengths & weakness. 03.2020 VP of Branding Strategy My contribution was recognised and I got a promotion to VP of Branding Strategy Learning: Resilience and loyalty will pay off (most of the time) 05.2021 VP of Strategic Partnership Due to some restructuring a new opportunity was offered to me and I decided to develop in a different direction, by leading our strategic partnerships. In this 12 months I learned so many new things, that I was a bit scared about: like working on 100 pages of legal contracts Learning: Try new things - the time is never lost as you gain new experience. 07.2022 Head of Awareness Marketing After 1 year within a new area, I realised my heart still beats for branding and creating awareness. And thankfully there was another door opening within Anyline for my next step. Learning (all of the above) - My team lead saw my strength & potential - I spoke up for myself & addressed my need - I gained new experience, which helps me in my new role - I accepted that my strengths lies within branding & awareness If you are wondering, what I'm exactly doing today, you can watch my 60 seconds video
Last week, we celebrated her 8-year Anyline anniversary. And like our company, her role and contributions to our goals have continued to evolve. This is what our own Sophie Kreuzer gets up to in a day, featured in this week's "My Job in 60 Seconds". Enjoy and join us in celebrating 8 amazing years!

Since September 1, 2018, I have been at DirectTrust as President and CEO - and the time has flown by. As I take stock now, we have grown four times bigger by most measures. The number of Direct Secure Messages sent and received per quarter has gone from about 50 million to over 200 million. Our network has grown from fewer than 1 billion transactions cumulatively, and recently passed 4 billion. Our team is 4 times bigger, as is our annual budget. I am so proud of our accomplishments. We became an ANSI accredited standards development organization, acquired SAFE Identity, and this year, merged with the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). I have long made it clear to my Board that we wanted to pivot to a focus on TRUST while driving the use and usability of Direct. Today we offer multiple services to our members and the industry including accreditation, HITRUST assessment and technical trust services for Direct Secure Messaging, Carequality, eHealth Exchange, and TEFCA. We collaborate with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), CMS, HHS, WEDI , The Sequoia Project, CommonWell Health Alliance, Civitas Networks for Health, CARIN Alliance, and many more organizations as well as our members. Our membership today is extremely diverse beyond even the HIT companies, payers and providers in the healthcare sector to include app companies, social care organizations, and identity companies. Our standards efforts include work to enable sensitive information exchange within the community even beyond healthcare. We are engaging with cloud fax vendors to establish standards for trustworthy exchange of data by fax. We are working with the remote online notaries to enable trusted communication of health documents. We are building out new accreditation programs to improve trust in the consumer health application ecosystem to add to our portfolio of accreditations that assess compliance for nearly 100 healthcare companies large and small. You should watch us, we are just getting started! Special thanks to my team to whom I owe a great debt of gratitude - Kelly Gwynn, Lee Barrett, Kathryn Ayers Wickenhauser, MBA, CHPC, CHTS, Kyle Neuman, Alexander Young, Susan Flynn, Ronald S. Moser, Debra Hopkinson, Stacy Clements, Taylor Gaunt, Mischelle Curtin, Lesley Berkeyheiser, Tom Hanks, CCSFP, PHIAS, Mark R McLaughlin, CCSFP, CHQP, Rick A. Moore, PhD , Felix Ofori, Larry Watkins, Stephen Weiss and yury vayman. Thanks to my board members past and present who helped us make this all possible, and to the EHNAC Commissioners. And thanks to our Legal and regulatory advocates, Jodi Daniel, Bryan Brewer, Stanley Nachimson, Doug Peddicord and Sophia McLeod. Special thanks to Ginna (Yost) Wotowey Wotowey for helping us assemble a great team and to David Kibbe who founded the organization in 2012. I have had a great time here. Time flies when you are building a trusted ecosystem!
We are celebrating five years under the leadership of our President and CEO, Scott Stuewe! Congratulations, Scott. Happy anniversary!

We are celebrating our 1st year 🎗 Here is what I wish I knew before starting Credit: at the beginning stage, your company will not have any credit. Therefore, it can be extremely hard to move freight, unless you already have a big driver base that trusts you. In many cases, you can offer the drivers payment before the delivery, and they will still refuse to book, because of lack of trust. Niche down: choose a small niche, and start doing research. Learn the common issues that shippers face in this specific niche. Come up with solutions to those issues. Focus on these solutions, when doing cold calls or sales in general. Overhead: As you start growing, you will get many calls and emails from companies offering services (tracking services, TMS, marketing, customer leads, business optimizations, credit improvements, etc.). Most of these services will have a binding contract, meaning you will not be able to cancel these services unless the contract ends (some can last up to 3 years). Think twice, before accepting any of these services, because most of your customers can switch to a competitor in any day. This can result in a situation of low cash flow and high overhead, potentially leading to bankruptcy.

It's almost time for our 10th anniversary celebration. Over the last few posts, we've looked at the elements of our newly refined brand, and today we reveal our Brand Purpose - the 'why' of what we do: 'Engineering Futures, Constructing Partnerships. We empower businesses by solving one of their biggest challenges: finding the right people. We're not just recruiters; we're problem-solvers and enablers, helping to lift businesses by ensuring they have the talent they need to succeed. We're about more than just recruitment; we're about powering the growth of our industries and the careers of our professionals, putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. We don't fill a vacancy; we understand the precise needs of both the role and the individual, to ensure the perfect match.' The tagline, 'Engineering Futures, Constructing Partnerships', works on a multi-layered system, talking to the literal aspect of engineering and construction, as well as the metaphorical idea of enabling clients, candidates, and our team to build their own futures through partnership with Mech Tech. We worked with @wearerebel_lion to enable us to shape our future journey, and we're looking forward to the next 10 years of Mech Tech. On May 20th, we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a new video, where we sat down with the team to hear what their thoughts, feelings, and emotions are around the world of Mech Tech where we're Engineering Futures, Constructing Partnerships.
