Day of the Seafarer 🚢 The Day of the Seafarer has been celebrated annually on June 25 since 2010. This year, the theme of the day is to make the maritime sector a safer place to work. Decent work is one of TT-Line's six key goals for sustainable development. For TT-Line, economic growth and sustainability go hand in hand. For economic growth to have a positive impact, it must be accompanied by decent work, which includes full productivity and a safe and inclusive working environment. Safety on board is an important issue for us. After all, a safe working environment is not only important for our crew on board, but also means a safe ferry for our passengers. As a minimum standard, all safety measures must meet the requirements of international, regional and national safety regulations for seagoing vessels. The basis for this is the SOLAS Convention (Safety of Life at Sea) of the International Maritime Organization IMO. #SafetyTipsAtSea #dayoftheseafarer #ttline
