I’d like to say 2023 has been a good year, but it’s been frought with challenges and has been one of the hardest yet. However, there have been silver linings, and joining LTT is most definitely one of them. In the almost 2 months I’ve been with the company, I’ve been out sick just over a week and now it’s coming up to Christmas so fits and starts is definitely the theme so far. However, throughout the craziness, the people at LTT have been a breath of fresh air and they continue to show me that coming to work here was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Before I joined the company, the team worked on building out these Personal Effectiveness cards, and each of us received a copy this week. For me, these cards epitomize the ethos at LTT which is to give to others; not for anything in return, but because we have knowledge and experience to share that can help, and helping is what we’re all about. So when I was feeling a little overwhelmed today at getting the last minute bits ticked off at work and thinking about the massive Christmas food shop, I decided to look through my cards and see what wisdom I could glean from the LTT crowd! Todays wisdom comes in the form of an energy audit. I haven’t completed it on the card because I don’t want to spoil my deck, but I can share the results right here: Physical - 2 Emotional - 7 Mental - 8 Spiritual - 4 Social - 9 Total 30 So I’m at 60%. Why am I a little low - because I haven’t got myself out of the house today due to little health issues that are plaguing me, but aren’t stopping me from walking so it’s no excuse, and because today I realised I feel quite disconnected from my spiritual self after finally sharing some of the worries on my mind having bottled them up for months. Just that act of sharing gave me a boost and has set me off on a perosnal path of discovery that I so need right now. The high scores are because I’m surrounded by family and friends, my work is challenging and fulfilling, and I’m excited for the future! I’m so grateful for you, LTT! Here’s to a bright 2024! Absolutely, gratitude has a powerful effect on our outlook and well-being. Recognizing and appreciating the good things in our lives can bring about a positive shift in perspective, leading to more happiness and fulfillment. These three aspects you mentioned—health, relationships, and basic necessities—are indeed fundamental pillars of a satisfying life. Taking the time to acknowledge and be thankful for them can cultivate a deeper sense of contentment and resilience, even during challenging times. #Success

Being grateful for what is good in your life will attract more good things into your life. Here are three common things most people can be grateful for: 1. Health: Good health is often something taken for granted until it is compromised. Being healthy, having access to medical care, and the ability to physically move about are fundamental aspects of life that can greatly influence happiness and well-being. 2. Relationships: Human connections—whether with family, friends, or colleagues—provide support, love, and a sense of belonging. Strong relationships are crucial for emotional well-being and can be a source of great joy and comfort. 3. Basic Necessities: Access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, and shelter is something to be thankful for. Many people around the world lack these essentials, so having a steady supply can constitute a significant aspect of gratitude in daily life. Being aware of and grateful for these aspects can lead to a more fulfilled and content life.

What do you do when you’ve “made it”? You're comfortable, happy, and further along than you thought you’d be. So what now? It’s important to live in the present and be grateful for what you have. But that doesn’t mean you have to stop growing. In fact, you shouldn’t. There’s a balance between living in the present and striving for more. You don’t have to be shooting for huge goals all the time. Growth doesn’t have to be grand. It can look like: ✅ Learning more in your career.  ✅ Working on yourself.  ✅ Continuing to put effort into your relationships. ✅ Taking up new hobbies.  ✅ Making healthy changes to your routine. There’s no right way to grow. Do what strengthens your health and happiness. There’s always room for improvement and gratitude.

➡️ A different perspective can make all the difference! It's my birthday week,  which I consider my actual start to the year. 🥳✨   I love celebrating my birthday. Not being super-social these days, I cherish it as a good opportunity to bring loved ones together.   If the weather allows, that is. ☔❄️🥶 Apparently, Seattle weather is not on my side next weekend.   So past Sunday morning, I was in a really bad mood  as I sent a text to friends, letting them know that I am prioritizing everybody's safety  and canceling our dinner. ☹️   Chances were pretty high that I'd be unhappy about it for the rest of the day.   But fortunately, my photo app sent me a memory collection  that reminded me of the most important thing: Mindset, baby! 💭💪   We don't always have a choice in what happens. But we always have a choice how we respond to it.   Seeing Fräulein Lili enjoy some rare Seattle snow days  is about the most fun thing ever for me. And that’s what I remembered when these pictures popped up.   So if that's what I get to do next weekend instead of  what I had planned to do … that's not so bad! 🤷♀️ However, even though it's always a good reminder  that we can at least choose our response …   … there are still plenty of ways for us to craft the life we desire.   It starts with letting go of what no longer serves us: 🧹 being unclear on our wishes 🧹 letting fear and self-doubt rule 🧹 missing out on opportunities 🧹 leaving challenges unresolved 🧹 playing way too small Maybe it's time for you to tackle these and instead create 🔥 more ease 🔥 more confidence 🔥 more happiness 🔥 more success  🔥 more [fill in what you desire] in your life? Do something that you love. It doesn't always have to be about work, achievements, and personal development. Wellbeing can take many different forms. And often it's those activities that we find the most joy in that can have the biggest impact. Yesterday, I celebrated 25 years of audio drama from the amazing Big Finish Productions by attending Big Finish Day 2024. I discovered Big Finish audio drama in 2012 through my love of a certain television program...Doctor Who! (Although Big Finish make all kinds of stuff and not just Doctor Who). Audio is a great way of being immersed in another world or time. It's helps me to relax. Unwind after a stressful day. Helps me to calm my mind and distract me from my endless to do list. It helps me to Reenergise. Or I can go out for a walk whilst listening - two wellbeing practices all in one! It really helps me to find that balance between my work and life, by doing something completely different that I enjoy and find pleasure in. Yes, today is my birthday. Contrary to what the picture might suggest, the mere anniversary holds little significance for me. Yet, today symbolizes my new beginning, fresh and full of promise. My birthday wishes? They are a simple mirror of my New Year’s resolutions:    ☘ To nurture my passion for connecting people and organizations, contributing to positive change. 🎂 To bring kindness and curiosity into the room when we look for breakthroughs in challenging collaborations. 🧚♀️ To savor the light-hearted moments even when diving into tough topics together. 💫 To partner with exceptional thinkers and doers who inspire me to make the most of anything.   This is my outlook for the upcoming year.
