Creating dashboards just got way easier. As a data viz junkie, I'm a big fan of this new tool I found. It's called the Dashboard Wireframe Kit and it allows you to plan out your reports before you build them. No more pen and paper. No more not knowing where to start. No more constantly editing your dashboard. It also provides lots of guidance and best practices. And honestly, it just looks REALLY nice! Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gMVBaHPm PS - I'm a super tactile person, so having something physical to plan out my dashboards with is awesome. #ad #datavisualization #tableau #powerbi
As a joke there should be an Excel expansion pack that introduce "fun" new game rules: -players can't play certain cards in certain chart slots (Jeff, you dummy, you updated the file but locked the sheet !) - mid way through the game half the players must switch to another blank board and have to recreate the cards played from memory (No no Susan, the file got corrupted and kept crashing last week but I am absolutely sure the numbers were much higher) -there are secret player "team" roles selected beforehand (ala Werewolf or Among us) that actively work to sabotage the main game who win by declaring their local desktop copy as the true golden record during certain game events like " quarterly sales update" or "major audit review"
Gutting this doesn’t ship to the UK!!!
It looks fun and all, but why not simply create a dashboard using dummy data in the tool of your liking, or just draw it on a piece of paper if you're feeling a little crazy 😎
Can you ship it to Egypt?
Nice, but I miss Qlik Sense version
🤯What will they think of next? This is super cool! It’s the perfect hybrid between physically writing it out and using digital tools.
I need this!!! But not available in the UK. Anyone willing to send me one?!
I absolutely love it. Great idea Matt Mike . I see it as a great, engaging and playful way to conduct wireframing workshops and gather Business requirements. Can a designer do the same with pen and paper/ market and whiteboard? Of course we can. That’s not the point. Working with end users can be tricky especially when they come from „I want my excel spreadsheet” background. Tools like yours help steer your users minds into what can this dashboard be and give them the power and courage to co-create with zero-to-little knowledge. Let’s make those requirements gathering/design sessions as engaging and as fun as possible. I’d order one for myself if you ship to Australia.
