In an Ego Driven World... We often allow our Ego to Judge others by seeing the world through our own lens. How often do we do this every day? More importantly....Should we do this at all? Everyone has their own experience of life and this world. Every experience comes with challenges to over come and benefits to receive. I ask you...How do you stand in your own way? Why is it far easier to Judge someone else by using the only measure we have, that is our experience, than it is to remind ourselves that everyone sees the world differently? "It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are 20 Gods or No God, It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." Thomas Jefferson. Your experience is how you relate to this world and the Ego seeks in everyway to manipulate and cloud the lens of your experience. Jefferson's quote suggests that we should be allowed to live and breath our experience as long as we do no harm to anyone else. However, our Ego seeks to enslave our thoughts by manipulating our emotions, seeking comfort in having someone else decides for us how best to live our lives. At what point do we have to reach before we decide for ourselves not to listen to anyone else, or our Ego? No one can tell you how to live your life, but that's the fun isn't it? The finding out for ourselves who we really want to be. Trust yourself...You got this!

Ask yourself: Are your thoughts and self talk in alignment with the person you want to be? The places you want to be in your life personally and professionally? Are you lifting yourself UP or tearing yourself DOWN? The funny thing about those not-so-silent talks we have with ourselves is they have the power to steer our fate. If you are NOT currently your own best cheerleader, advocate, and hero in your own head? CHANGE that CHANNEL. Fuel your mind with the good stuff. Let go of the bad stuff.

Judge less, FEEL BETTER. Less jumping to conclusions about people and more listening to the carefree part of your soul that just wants to be happy and enjoy the gifts of existence. Don’t be the person playing small games of judgment. Be the soul open to the world and your fellow humans’ journeys from a place of compassion and love. Once you flip this switch from allowing small petty thoughts to appreciating others and the grandeur and gifts of life, everything changes.

Appoint them CAREFULLY, listen OPENLY, and then MAKE YOUR MOVE. Truthtellers help you strike that beautiful balance between feeling like life is a solo mission and taking in too much of the world’s outside opinion.
