You cause the night to pass into the day and the day into the night. #poultryindustry #atmanirbharbharat #poultry #poultrynutrition #eggproduction #aliveterinarywisdom Chickens are primarily kept for their meat and eggs, and are an important source of food for many people around the world. They are also commonly used in scientific research, particularly in genetics and developmental biology, due to their relatively simple genome and embryonic development. Chickens have a lifespan of around 5-10 years and are social animals that form complex hierarchies within flocks. They are known for their distinctive vocalizations, which vary depending on the situation and can convey a wide range of emotions. Overall, chickens are fascinating and important animals that have played an important role in human history and continue to do so today. The commercial importance of these types of birds has stimulated investigation of their basic physiology. For example, selection for increased numbers of eggs laid has resulted in strains of chickens that lay 250–300 eggs per hen annually, while the tendency for these strains to cease laying and incubate their eggs has been nearly eliminated. The most significant environmental cue for reproductive activity in birds is the photoperiod, especially in chickens. Light that affects reproductive stimulation and timing is perceived by photoreceptors that are located in the hypothalamus. Many experiments has shown that light must pass through the avian skull and that the pineal gland and eyes are not critical for perception of daylength. https://lnkd.in/g-b-mne7

An eggshell temperature of 100°F (37.8°C) is optimal for embryonic development from the start of incubation until transfer time. Thus, controlling the eggshell temperature in the setter has become common to achieve optimal results. But what about the hatcher phase: Is an eggshell temperature of 100°F also the optimal setpoint after egg transfer? Eduardo Romanini, discusses the results of a Petersime trial that investigated three hatcher temperature profiles and their effect on hatchability and chick quality. #DidYouKnow The Boomslang snake found in sub-Saharan Africa, possesses venom that interferes with blood clotting by affecting the coagulation process. This venomous effect can lead to spontaneous bleeding from various bodily openings, including the gums, nose, and wounds. Despite its potent venom, the Boomslang is known for its shy nature and rarely poses a threat to humans unless provoked. Wildlife researchers and herpetologists study its venom properties to better understand its biochemical composition and potential medical applications. #boomslangsnake #venomoussnake #africanwildlife #bloodclotting #SnakeVenom #naturefacts #africanwildlife #NatureDiscovery #snakebiology #herpetology #venomresearch #wildlifeconservation #snakesafety #naturalworld #biodiversity #animalfacts www.tycoonstory.com
