Today marks the release of my first major sound design project at Riot! I was fortunate enough to be tasked with sound designing the recall for Empyrean Malzahar in League of Legends, which released today! I would like to give a major shoutout and thank you to Michael Cheung and Tristan Medjo for teaching me so much and being so willing to help me throughout this entire process! Without them, this would have never been possible and I am so appreciative to have peers like them to show me the ropes and to push me with each round of feedback! Middle school me would've never believed that I created some beep boops that ended up in League of Legends. I am so grateful, not only for the opportunity to work on a project like this, but for the peers around me who made it happen and helped me along the way. Where do I begin? I'm Grammy Nominated baby!!! Never in a million years did I think this would happen, especially this early in my career. But dang am I proud of myself and everyone that was a part of this beautiful track. Joel, Luke and Jordin are the sweetest individuals you would ever meet and I can't think of a more deserving group of folks for this award. Thank you to everyone who has had my back since the beginning through it all. Keep creating, art will never die. Drinks on me if we win!! 🏆
