Generally I am a big fan of earlier stage companies punching way above their weight with clever brand placements. Our friends at SunGod pulled an absolute worldie by dropping off a shipment of their ski goggles to the changing rooms of both Northampton and Bath for this weekends Premiership Rugby Final for the champagne spraying that now follows victory. The wearing of ski googles in the changing room has come over from US sports and the NBA. The media coverage and player interviews that followed all appeared to contain SG's brand and this long tail of coverage carried on for days (See The Guardian article in the comments below) (I can confirm they also work excellently in the snow but have not yet tried them with the fizz! ) Did anyone notice them in the media coverage that followed?
