I love it when our clients win. Last night a client called me with news that their new product line was accepted by some of the top retailers in the country (Costco, Sprouts, CVS), each of which wants to launch this summer. This can create short term pressure for us as the manufacturer, especially with the tight timelines. For example, large retailers typically require the manufacturer to complete Quality Assirance validation activities, including site audits, desktop audits, and more. Thankfully we already supply products to these retailers so there is less of a hurdle there. However, the timeline to produce what is needed to support a retailer launch is also challenging. Brands usually don’t have the inventory on hand to support it. That means expedited production, which can impact the production schedule, our staff, and our other clients. It becomes quite the balancing act in these times. All of these challenges and more are 100% worth it. We take pride in being a part of seeing our clients win, and we will face these opportunities head-on every time they arise.
