I'm excited to share the latest insights from BCG's recently released AI at Work report, which delves into employee sentiment about greater AI and GenAI integration in the workplace. Last week, I shared my thoughts on our findings against the trends at play in the market with Rani Molla from Sherwood News – underscoring the causes of lingering tech anxiety among workforces and the characteristics leaders can pass along to help address these feelings while encouraging greater AI experimentation and usage. Our survey of over 13,000 employees reveals that while regular users of generative AI recognize its potential to enhance productivity and work quality, they also express heightened uncertainty about job security. This reflects a broader need for adequate training and preparation for the ways AI will continue to evolve people’s roles. 4wInteresting! I’m also wondering if those employees surveyed were from the tech world or not? Some of the jobs will be out in the future but the jobs that need human touch will be here and with the help of AI an employee will be able to have faster results and impact. Changes are scary for sure but definitely worth it if those changes are going to bring a positive impact into your work and company goals.
