Well-being & Resilience Strategist - Guiding driven professionals and entrepreneurs to create space for their own well-being without sacrificing their impact at work or at home. Founder Minding Your Minutes™
I often work with clients who are looking for a magic formula to improve well-being and improve focus at work- usually because stress is taking its toll. When we peel back the onion there’s often a belief that productivity at work requires being always on. There’s often belief that “working” means instantly accessible through all the various channels with little margin between meetings. The magic starts to happen when we build in more intentional movement and periods of deep focus on specific aligned projects. The energy and outcomes are vastly different than those spent simmering at the surface of constant low engagement tasks. Now I have a phrase for those intentional movement and energy snacks from this article- strategic recovery! Our brains and bodies will thank us. How are YOU incorporating strategic recovery into your work + life now? Does your workplace culture support it or are you swimming against the tide?
Dedicated intentional recovery time makes workers more productive. Here’s why — Fast Company
