A year ago, I faced an unexpected opportunity—speaking at my company's "EMEA Town Hall" meeting to discuss our client and project highlights. Despite my nerves kicking in the night before and questioning my decision, I VOLUNTEERED.😬 Why? Because I made a promise to myself to never stay in my comfort zone.❌ I live by the quote 💡: ✅ Think of failing not as a bad thing, but as a way of learning. ✅ Through failure, we learn from our mistakes. ✅ And when we learn, we grow! Conclusion: After my speech, doors opened!🙋♀️ I was invited to contribute to recruitment workshops in our "EMEA Projects Team." This year, I had the long-awaited opportunity to attend the #HIMSS conference in Orlando, Florida – a milestone I've eagerly awaited since joining the sales team. However, instead of diving into the whirlwind of networking and industry insights, I made a deliberate choice to spend the week with my family and close friends in Orlando. Amidst the bustling conference halls and networking opportunities, I realized something profound: sometimes, the most valuable connections aren't made in boardrooms or at industry events, but around the dinner table and during moments of shared laughter with loved ones. Choosing to prioritize family over professional endeavors for a week may seem unconventional, but for me, it was a decision rooted in my core values. As much as I value professional growth and networking opportunities, I firmly believe that family comes first. Spending quality time with my daughter and creating cherished memories with loved ones reminded me of what truly matters in life. It's essential to be dedicated to our work, but it's equally important – if not more so – to nurture our relationships and create meaningful experiences with those we hold dear. This experience reaffirmed my commitment to balancing work and family life and setting an example for my daughter. After much contemplation, I'm thrilled to share that this Sunday, on December 31st, I'll be embarking on a new chapter. Hi, I'm Ariana, and as part of a relocation program, I'm excited to announce my move to Cincinnati, OH as a Mexico Account Representative at TQL. You might be wondering, "Why relocate far from family?" Well, I suffer from a unique condition – a relentless pursuit of opportunity (O bueno, mi familia dijera que soy muy inventora). Originating from a place where opportunities were scarce, I found myself dreaming of days like today. Growing up in a survival environment fueled my determination to seize any chance before me. "Why Cincinnati?" you might ask. It's a leap out of my comfort zone, a quest for personal growth, a chance to exchange cultures, and a commitment to becoming the best version of myself. While I cherish my family, this journey is about my self-discovery and professional success. (Also HQ has a Gym)😏. Am I scared? Absolutely. Am I excited? Without a doubt.
