This year marks my 10th L'Oréal #CitizenDay, and it's incredible to look back on all the impactful experiences I've been part of: from applying a fresh coat of paint in children's hospital, to preparing meals for the homeless and lending a hand with reforestation efforts, each Citizen Day has been a humbling reminder of the power of collective action 🌱
This year, we've helped cleaning up one of Singapore's beaches and hopefully we've contributed to make it a better place for everybody 🌎💚

Creating an ideal workspace for employees is crucial. It should be a place where they feel comfortable 😌, safe 🛡️, and valued 💖. L'Oréal recently moved to a new office 🏢, which is an excellent example of their commitment to prioritizing their people.
The new office has several amenities that enhance the working experience for employees. For instance, La Cafet ☕ is now available for employees to socialize, eat their meals, and unwind during their breaks. The ergonomic workspace design promotes wellness 🧘♀️ by offering comfortable seating. Collaborating spaces are also available to encourage teamwork and creativity among employees, as well as a Sky Garden to catch one's breath and check out some incredible city views.
The move to a new office reflects L'Oréal's people-first culture and values. By providing a comfortable and safe workspace, L'Oréalians 👥 can feel more connected, productive 💪, and motivated 🚀. L’Oréal Thailand and MYLACA team has finally moved into our new home - “Baan Beauté” (aka The House of Beauty) - where beauty meets technology. A headquarters worthy of the biggest beauty company in the world.
Baan Beauté reflects our people-first culture of connection, co-creation, and celebration. I am thrilled to see it in its finished state, buzzing with the energy of our people.
Moving is never easy especially when we had over 20 years of history back at our previous base Bangkok City Tower. However, embracing changes and transformation is the true L’Oréal spirit and the team in Thailand has not only taken this challenge, but also made the whole process fun and exciting for everyone.
I would like to show my appreciation to Khun Songsamorn Palmy HATTET and to Sylvaine Hermans as well as all our amazing task force LOMO Rangers. Without them, it would be impossible to have this amazing new space we all are proud of.

Let's spill the tea (or coffee) on L'Oréal's secret weapon: Fit Meets! 🤝
So, what's a "Fit Meet"? It's basically an excuse to grab coffee or lunch with folks from totally different teams. This unique initiative allows us to break down silos and build bridges across teams, offering invaluable opportunities to learn about various functions and understand the day-to-day responsibilities of colleagues. As an intern at L'Oréal, I've personally found Fit Meets to be my ticket to expand my network, forging friendships, and gaining insights into different facets of the company.
During a Fit Meet, I had the pleasure of meeting Joshua Arvind, a talented YouTuber whose content had inspired me on my journey towards pursuing a Masters in Management in France. Despite the humble setting of a less-than-stellar brasserie 😝, our conversation was quite enriching. Joshua's journey from EDHEC student to L'Oréal contributor and now a YouTube sensation was downright inspiring as well.
Reflecting on this experience, I believe the FIT meet concept should be embraced in workplaces everywhere. As we navigate the professional landscape, the importance of building relationships cannot be overstated. After all, a company is ultimately about its people. 🤝
As I continue to grow within L'Oréal, I believe that fostering a culture of connection and collaboration, as exemplified by Fit Meets, is essential for both personal and organisational success. Should this concept be adopted more widely in large-scale workplaces? Absolutely. It's not just about networking; it's about creating a culture where individuals can thrive both vertically and horizontally, contributing to a more dynamic and fulfiling work environment.

L'Oréal Brandstorm was an exhilarating whirlwind, and I'm incredibly proud to have placed among the top 10 teams in the GCC region! This year, the theme was, "Reinventing The Future Of Professional Beauty Through Tech". To me, this competition wasn't solely about creating innovative beauty solutions (although that part was definitely thrilling); it was a crash course in pushing creative boundaries and learning from inspiring minds.
Speaking of inspiration, I would like to thank my amazing teammates, Sudesh Baniya and Samip Khulal for investing countless hours in brainstorming, refining our idea, and perfecting our pitch.
I am also thankful for my mentors, Mohammed IBAHRINE and Marah Joudeh. Their belief in our idea and willingness to share their expertise and support was invaluable. Finally, I am extremely grateful for Aswin Gopakumar, Marya Shamoun, and Zeinab Husseini for their unwavering support throughout this entire journey as our hosts.
Brandstorm wasn't just about learning the latest strategies; it was about discovering the power of creativity, teamwork, and resilience. MY FIRST 6 MONTHS AT L'Oréal✅
Several studies show that onboarding lasts between 3 and 6 months, but throughout my life I have reflected on this topic, both from the HR perspective and from the newcomer side. I realized that I can't give any precise number of months, since the length of this period is personal and variable. But one thing I know for sure: The first months are crucial to see if employees can fit in. And spoiler alert, after 6 months at L'Oréal, I do fit in L'Oréal. 🤩
Happy to share some success factors of my Onboarding:
📚 Welcome day in the first month where I reinforced my decision to make part of this love brand. Small presentations on critical topics for those who are new in the company: mission, culture, brands, performance review, benefits, learning and development opportunities, useful contacts …
👣 FIT Roadmap: 1:1 sessions with key stakeholders and colleagues with whom I would interact most
👨🎓 FIT Discovery: 2 days of immersion in the mission, culture and areas of the company through the presentation of several company leaders, including the CEO (yes, Onboarding here is really a priority)
💄 Participation in an internal Brands Fair to get to know and fall in love with the L'Oréal's brands and products (Did you know that more than 36 global brands spans 4 divisions? check here the portfolio: https://lnkd.in/gw7aFTan)
🏭 Visit L'Oréal Burgos factory, where some products are produced for the whole world - it's amazing!! (prove it for yourself with the 360° Virtual Tour https://lnkd.in/dw7eTme7)

🌍 D&I Workshop a very practical session where we deconstructed concepts

Earlier this month, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the world of beauty innovation at the L’Oréal Experience Day. 💄
Here are my 3 key takeaways from this insightful event!
1️⃣ L’Oréal's strategic venture into the South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa region (SAPMENA) is poised to become a key market for L’Oréal in the next decade.
This is due to SAPMENA’s young average age of 28 years old, with growing beauty aspirations and purchasing power.
2️⃣ L’Oréal Groupe's sustainability program (L’Oréal for the Future) is dedicated to reaching their science-based targets.
One such initiative that reflects their commitment is the collaboration with startup Gjosa to create a water-saving shower head, which is stated to have reduce water consumption by 69%!
3️⃣ The intersection of beauty and technology was showcased vividly through L’Oréal's innovative products like the YSL Rouge Sur Mesure.
It allows users to craft thousands of lipstick shades with a single touch, exemplifying L’Oréal's dedication to providing personalized beauty experiences that empower individuals to express their unique selves.
Overall, it was a privilege to attend the L’Oréal Experience Day and explore with the company that shapes the world of beauty. ⭐️
