Throughout June, we’ve traded our signature orange for a rainbow of colors to celebrate Pride Month! Team members and residents joined together for a variety of programs and celebrations, including do-it-together art projects, documentary viewings, sharing of quotes, and more—all as part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. #PrideMonth #DEI

Pride Month is a powerful reminder of the courage it takes to be authentically yourself. It’s about standing up and standing out, not just for a moment, but every day. As we celebrate Pride, let's remember that true diversity goes beyond a multicolored logo—it’s about embracing and supporting each other in our unique journeys. In a world that often pushes for conformity, being yourself is an act of bravery. It’s about honoring your true self and encouraging others to do the same. This authenticity is what makes our communities vibrant and strong. Standing for diversity means creating spaces where everyone feels valued and heard. It’s about fostering an environment where differences are celebrated, and where everyone can thrive. This commitment to diversity isn’t just good for individuals; it’s essential for the growth and success of our communities and workplaces. Let’s not just celebrate Pride this month, but every day. Let’s commit to being allies, to listening, learning, and advocating for a world where everyone can be their true selves without fear. Here’s to the courage to stand up, stand out, and truly stand for diversity. Happy Pride Month! 🌈 #Pride #Authenticity #Diversity #Inclusion #Community #CelebratePride

An amazing event with some truly extraordinary people ❤️ It was awesome to share our message of inclusion with everyone at the CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) Inclusion Summit, and their response was EVERYTHING. People laughed, people cried, people cheered— The engagement from everyone was truly special. At the end of the talk, I received a double standing ovation... LIKE WHAT?!? That moment will forever be humbling! But, I want to briefly glimpse what we discussed because it is so important to build an inclusive company that thrives. Do something. Pay attention to your people, ask questions, listen for feedback, come up with new ideas, and most importantly, make the choice to *do something*. We've forgiven ourselves of the expectation that it will be perfect on Day 1. But we take pride in knowing that we're trying. So we'll iterate, and make Day 2 even better. We live by the motto, "It's okay that an idea didn't work out because at least you tried." And it's necessary for people to feel comfortable getting a little uncomfortable. That's how you grow. So remember, next time you fail, be proud of yourself because you tried!
Completely blown away by the inspirational Lindsay Wrege (of 321 Coffee) at #CLA's Belonging and Inclusion Summit in Phoenix, Arizona. Wow, wow, wow! Message heard. Challenge accepted. Thank you for paving a greater path for us all.

By appreciating our similarities and differences, Celebrate Diversity month aims to get people to foster a deeper understanding of others, regardless of who they are, what they are, or how they live. It’s also an opportunity to increase diversity in the workplace and various academic fields. https://bit.ly/3zuk4lc

In celebration of Black History Month, with its focus on inclusivity and diversity, we wanted to take some time to highlight those in our Unbridled community who are committed to belonging and inclusion. Here at Unbridled, we recognize that inclusivity and diversity can’t be confined to one month of the year. That’s why we have the Belonging Team. These nine outstanding individuals understand that an Unbridled community takes all kinds. Here’s what a few of them had to say about how “belonging” impacts them: “Belonging to me means feeling like you can be your authentic self and not be judged but supported and celebrated!” -Addi Kurronen “I keep a copy of Unbridled’s Diversity Statement taped to my monitor so that no matter what I’m working on, I have a reminder to keep our commitment to creating a diverse, caring community my focus. I resonate most with the opening line – An Unbridled Community Takes All Kinds. What that means to me is that not only do we need all kinds of people to be successful, but more importantly we accept all kinds of people and that inclusivity makes our team stronger.” - Diane Rudolph “To me, the belonging team at Unbridled represents the very soul of our company, a group of compassionate people dedicated to fostering an environment where every individual feels seen, heard, and cherished. I believe being inclusive and making a conscious effort to understand each other is one of the kindest things you can do for people. Every day, I think about how fortunate I am to be at a company and on a team working tirelessly to bring people together.” -Avery Walker Thank you to our Belonging Team members for keeping diversity top of mind. When everyone has a seat at the table and feels like they belong, we are so much better for it. The ACTS team wants you to know that you belong, you matter, you are loved, and you are valued. #unbridledacts #beunbridled #love2life #community #care #connections #engaged #belonging #diversity #inclusion #Unbridledfamily #ourpeople #blackhistorymonth Unbridled Productions

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Volunteers of America/ Consultant/Human Resources Trainer/Journalist
Celebrate Diversity in April https://lnkd.in/d-SnvWqX April is Celebrate Diversity Month, and it's a great opportunity to recognize and appreciate our nation's vibrant diversity. We are made up of people from diverse cultures, races, sexual orientations, abilities, and religions, and it's important to celebrate and honor the contributions of individuals from all backgrounds who have helped shape America's history. Let's take this month to embrace inclusivity, understanding, compassion, and respect for all people. Here are a few things you can do to celebrate our diversity and promote a more inclusive environment: - Celebrate and appreciate our differences while recognizing the common humanity that unites us. - Learn about diverse perspectives to deepen your understanding of the lived experience of others. - Promote an inclusive environment where everyone feels accepted, supported, and valued. Together, let's work towards a more inclusive and diverse society. #CelebrateDiversityMonth

April is Celebrate Diversity Month and Edelstein’s IDEA Council will be recognizing this through weekly trivia questions. The answer to last week's question was, B) Providing fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all individuals, while striving to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups. This week's question is, What does the term "belonging" signify in the context of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)? A) Fostering an environment where individuals feel accepted and valued for their unique identities and contributions, promoting a sense of community and acceptance. B) Ensuring that all individuals are treated equally and have access to the same resources and opportunities, regardless of their background or identity. C) Creating spaces where marginalized groups are given preferential treatment to compensate for historical injustices and disparities. D) Promoting the representation of diverse perspectives and identities within decision-making processes and organizational structures. Which response are you going with? Share it in the comments! #CelebrateDiveristyMonth
