🌍 Happy World Mental Health Day! 🌍 Today, I want to share a personal journey that has shaped my perspective on mental health. In the midst of dark times, where awareness was limited, I discovered the power of therapy. It became my guiding light, helping me understand myself, make wiser decisions, and cultivate self-trust. I take regular therapy sessions! And let me break a myth here. Therapy shouldn’t be seen as a last resort, it’s not supposed to be a reactive measure; it's a proactive and ongoing practice. By prioritizing our mental well-being, we can navigate life's challenges with greater resilience. Let's prioritize mental well-being as a proactive practice. Companies, consider offering free therapy sessions as valuable perks. It fosters a culture of care and support, empowering individuals to prioritize their mental health. I'm grateful to #ClickPost for including this important perk and creating a culture of prioritising mental wellbeing. 🤝 Feel free to connect with me if you need any help seeking that help! #WorldMentalHealthDay #BreakTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters

It's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek! 💙 This year's theme is 'movement,' highlighting the importance of how staying active can safeguard our mental well-being. Just like movement keeps our logistic operations running smoothly, taking care of our bodies keeps our minds sharp. At Silver X, we care about our team's mental health. We’ve recently re-vamped our outdoor space at HQ to encourage taking breaks and spending more time outdoors, away from desks. Here are some tips that will help support better mental health: 🚶♂️ Incorporate daily movement, even if it's just a short walk. 🎯 Set achievable goals to maintain consistency. ⏰ Take breaks from sitting to stretch and move around. 🤸♂️ Make movement enjoyable by trying new activities. Let's get moving for better mental health. Remember, it's okay to not be okay. If you or someone you know needs support, visit https://lnkd.in/g--Rm92. Late Post! 🌿☕ On Mental Health Awareness Day, we couldn't think of a better way to promote well-being in the workplace than by taking a refreshing walk and grabbing coffee with a few members of the team. Enjoyed taking a brief break outside to rejuvenate the spirit and clear the mind. Great conversations emphasizing the importance of connection and support. Talking about our mental health experiences and challenges was a reminder that we're all in this together. This simple yet meaningful outing was a reminder that taking care of our mental health is a collective effort. It's not just about discussing it on specific days but fostering an environment where it's okay to talk, share, and support one another, every day. Let's all remember that mental health should be a priority, not just today, but every day. 🌿☕ #MentalHealthAwareness #TeamWellbeing #ChaseHomeLending #CultureIsEverything NMLS 447758 Christopher Becerra Tom Frawley Jaime Teran Bryan Shigekuni Jarett Duchyns Anastasia Elliott Jeff Fisher

💬 The Power of Empathy: Tune into each other 🤝 In today's fast-paced world, many of us face mental health challenges, and building a supportive community can be incredibly empowering. When we show empathy and offer peer support, we create a safe and inclusive environment where people feel heard, understood, and valued. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. It goes beyond sympathy; it's about stepping into someone else's shoes and offering genuine understanding. When we practice empathy, we create a compassionate space for individuals to open up about their mental health struggles without fear of judgment. This emotional connection fosters trust and encourages seeking help when needed. Empathising not only strengthens community wellbeing, it will make you feel better yourself. 🏙️🧠 Watch this beautiful 2-minute explanation of empathy vs sympathy: https://lnkd.in/g4mG9uj Knowing you're not alone in your challenges can be incredibly empowering and motivate individuals to take positive steps towards healing and recovery. 🌱 Incorporate the following 3 simple ways can make your self a better listener and an empath: 1️⃣ Active Listening: Be genuinely interested, and, more importantly, listen without judgment, interrupting, or imposing your own views. 2️⃣ Normalize Feelings: Remind individuals that it's okay to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or down sometimes. Normalizing emotions reduces the stigma around mental health. 3️⃣ Share Personal Stories: Opening up about our own mental health experiences can inspire others to do the same and break down barriers. Let's take the initiative to nurture empathy and peer support in our communities to build a stronger, more supportive society. Let's be there for each other, one step at a time 💪 #MentalHealthMatters #Empathy #PeerSupport #CommunityMentalHealth #SupportiveCommunity #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthAwareness #linkedincommunity #MIBRAIN #getreal #emotions
