Twenty years ago our sporting heritage and racing DNA experienced one of their greatest moments: the beginning of a legendary decade for Maserati in the FIA GT championships with the glorious and unstoppable MC12 GT1 Vitaphone. Twenty years ago, an incredible masterpiece of performance was ready to hit the road: the MC12 Stradale inspired and pushed our production to the edge. It was the fastest Maserati ever produced. Today, I'm thrilled to unveil the result of a journey “from father to son”: the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda – two special series marking this 20th anniversary in 40 units (of 20 each). These models showcase our innovative V6 Nettuno engine and the finest elegance of our Fuoriserie personalisation programme. As we celebrate this milestone, we honour our heritage and reaffirm our commitment to excellence and innovation. Here's to the past, the present and, even more so, the future of Maserati's legacy.

Folgore is ON. The best way to honor our heritage is by embracing the future. In the year we celebrate our 110th anniversary, we're charging ahead into a new era of electric luxury mobility here in the Motor Valley.   Fresh from the thrill of the podium in Formula E home-race at the Misano Circuit over the last weekend, we've proudly showcased to the international media and to our dealers our 100% electric Folgore range with the global unveil of the new GranCabrio Folgore next to the previously introduced GranTurismo and Grecale Folgore.   Next year, we'll launch the MC20 Folgore, solidifying our position as the first Italian luxury car brand to make a full-electric range a reality. All while staying true to our roots – unequivocally Made in Italy, with Modena continuing to serve as the beating heart of the Trident. To drop the top is to embrace pleasure. Here comes an icon of open-air grand touring: the new Maserati GranCabrio.  Maserati convertibles have always been a celebrated part of our history, as they fully embody that unique sense of Italian passion, style, and freedom. Think of the 3500 GT, Mistral or Ghibli Spyders, or the most recent generation of GranCabrio – they each represent the ultimate expression of the Maserati way of living, and driving. The new GranCabrio keeps that spirit intact while bringing this rolling sculpture forward and onward with the latest in innovation. At launch, we’re introducing the Maserati GranCabrio in its Trofeo version, which features the extraordinary Maserati developed twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine. 2023 has marked a year of incredible defining moments for #Maserati – from being the first-ever Italian automaker to race in the all-electric Formula E series to securing podiums and claiming victory in a single-seater world championship for the first time since Juan Manuel Fangio in 1957 – this year marked the first phase of our electrified era, not only on the track but also on the road. Our first fully-electric Maserati, the GranTurismo Folgore, was revealed around the world alongside our first all-electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore.   As we’ve embraced electrification, we’ve also presented the crowning achievement of an incredible combustion motoring legacy: the last of the Maserati V8s, the Ghibli 334 Ultima and the Levante V8 Ultima. Shortly after, the extremely rare and extremely exclusive Maserati MCXtrema was unleashed in California during Monterey Car Week – a racing beast capable of an astonishing 740 CV. On the track, we also made a triumphant return to GT racing with the new Maserati GT2, which made pole and podium positions in its debut race.   As we look to 2024, with our second season of Formula E starting in just a few weeks and the launch of the all-new GranCabrio coming soon, we continue daring forward.   Thank you to everyone who is a part of the Maserati team and contributed their all to make this landmark year possible for the Maserati brand.

October 30, 1963. 60 years ago today, the first-ever Maserati Quattroporte stole the scene at one of the world's most important automotive events, the Turin Motor Show. A new segment was born. For the first time, a roaring race-derived engine was used to power a luxury sedan.  In other words, it was a finely crafted living room with a V8 racing spirit. Often in the spotlight, whether on the red carpet, at institutional events or on the silver screen in memorable films, the Quattroporte has evolved in pace with culture and society. Royalties, Presidents, movie stars, top entrepreneurs and executives – they've all journeyed aboard the more than 75,000 Quattroporte models produced across six generations. Today's Quattroporte continues to fascinate with its distinctive Italian character, attention to detail, superior performance and sublime interiors.  At the Modena headquarters, we are celebrating this icon of Italian elegance by putting some of the models that made history on display in a sort of Quattroporte retrospective. The beast has been unleashed. Today at the Monterey Car Week we unveiled the most powerful track-only Maserati. The Maserati MCXtrema was created to offer an incredibly exclusive product – 62 pieces only – that constitutes a new paradigm for our track cars. The project builds on our brand’s roots, and it is a continuation of our pathway devoted to superlative manufacturing. 740 CV from the V6 Nettuno engine, a jaw-dropping power-to-weight ratio, amazing handling and aerodynamics and purposeful beauty. “Extreme”. That’s the first word many of its 62 exclusive future owners pronounced when they saw the shape Project24 was taking. So, we wanted this feeling to be reflected in its name. MCXtrema, the new #Maserati 740CV beast to be unleashed during Monterey Car Week at The Quail on August 18th.  Extremely rare, extremely powerful. Handle with care. 

Maserati is accelerating. It's a fact confirmed by our H1 results just released by Stellantis. Our global sales are up 42% YOY. That’s good news, but for an Italian luxury brand like Maserati, what's even more interesting is the nearly doubled Adjusted Operating Income and the fact that our pricing power skyrocketed to be +10.3% higher than the competitive benchmark in the five most important EU markets. Our performance is driven by the powerful Grecale wind, our SUV with its full-electric Folgore version on track to go into production by the end of 2023, elevated by the all-new GranTurismo with the Folgore version available by Q4, powered by the back-to-racing strategy with Formula E and our return to GT competitions with a spectacular racing version of the MC20 super sports car, the Maserati GT2. Building on the Maserati brand's original core values is proving to contribute to our long-term sustainable growth.
