To exceed patients’ expectations, deliver high quality, safe care and build a culture where team members support and celebrate one another takes a daily commitment to the values that unite us in our purpose. Each year, one Ardent entity is recognized for excelling in all of these areas and awarded the Ardent Cup. I recently had the opportunity to celebrate with the Hillcrest South team just outside of Tulsa at a ranch in Bixby, Oklahoma. Winning the Ardent Cup for the first time, this was a special event with team members and their families – complete with all the barnyard animals and festivities. Ardent Health President of Hospital Operations David Schultz joined me along with our host Oklahoma Region President Kevin Gross. We also celebrated Mark, Paula and Diane for their 25 years of service at Hillcrest South. What a special time to remember why we do what we do every day – to serve our communities!
