This week, during our training, Lance 🐕, decided he needed to join in. Although he didn’t really share much he was an attentive listener and overall a good good boy 🤣. Lance’s Key Takeaways: 1. Always be enthusiastic - Even if you have no idea what’s going on, a little excitement can go a long way! 2. Take regular breaks - Stretch, yawn, and chase a ball if you need to. It’s essential for maintaining high energy. 3. Embrace the unexpected - Sometimes, the best ideas come when you least expect them… like in the middle of a chew toy session.

I've had 3 people in recent months asking me to train them as Master Firewalk Instructors - my answer probably hasn't been what they expected... NO course can make you a Master. Of anything 🔥 but particularly of the Firewalk. Mastery is gained through years of experience. Of great successes, and many learning curves. Of course certification is important, but it should be the last step of the journey to becoming a master - first gain the mastery, then seek the piece of paper that confirms it. For me to accept people's payment to qualify them in such a way could be very tempting - but two things have to be in place first. 1. They have to have reached a level in holding Firewalks where they are ready to claim mastery (always still open to learning of course) 2. I have to have reached a level in training Firewalk Instructors where I am ready to claim mastery too If anyone tells you they are a Master of anything because they've done a week/2 week training don't be embarrassed about being dubious about what that actually makes them 🙃 And in whatever you do in life, keep learning, experiencing and growing, rather than being in a rush to hold the title master 🔥
