During #Pride Season, properties around the CALA region participated in parades in Costa Rica and Panama. Karol Hernández, Sustainability Manager and Founder of the Diversity Committee, Costa Rica Marriott Hacienda Belén, and Los Suenos Marriott Ocen & Golf Resort, attended and helped to support the Costa Rica parade. Karol, along with 60 volunteers, dedicated over 588 hours of volunteerism to helping prepare for Pride, including planning and building the float that participated in the Parade. "The float, themed as the Kingdom of Dreams, symbolized Marriott as a place where everyone is welcome and dreams come true. It represented our commitment to providing open and safe spaces for all of our guests and associates, promoting a message of peace and understanding." 1wI’m going to say this #marriott. I have a been a elite platinum even embassador that means I spend a lot of money yearly to stay and get rewarded from the perks. Even though it’s more expensive to book directly from you then Third part site it doesn’t make sense since we have a different category. But here is the thing. Pick your battles wisely you are helping pride which most of us that stay in your hotels are straight gender from this you will loose millions because we the Christian side have boycotted target 🎯 chipotle and many more franchises and now i guess Hilton will be my preferred stop at anything else. It’s shameful because most of the pride people don’t even stay at your hotels. They are too cheap in generalized population. So you gain 5% to loose 20-30%. Where are your morals and your values along with your political affiliation to gain more customers. I guarantee you. Check your black positive number because they are going to start going red the more you put this in your headlines. I’m going to Utah next week for work I need 8 rooms for 3 weeks shut best western plus is now a favorite after this and or Hilton. They are 5 percent of population. You really hope to gain or to lose. Its business don’t take it personal.
