My friends this Post is not about Sports or Growth Equities. It is the story of two people who are effecting change in Israel and by their example hopefully they will create change in the hearts and minds of what is currently a sad state of affairs in the Middle East. Their names are Daniel Bernard and Lisa Cohen Loew. They are both natural born leaders who are in Israel working for a peaceful solution. The current situation there is larger than both of them. Please do not tell them that. If Martin Luther King, Jack or Robert Kennedy thought that way there would be no progress towards change in our Country. The only way to create a peaceful solution in the Middle East is for all of to realize that we are one people. Hamas has committed heinous crimes against Israel’s women and children. At the same time Israel’s leadership must change. It is time for younger leadership that brings people together in that Region. It is also time for younger leaders in the U.S. that can play on a global stage and have a basic understanding of what is going on in Israel versus a few isolated comments. I believe that people are the same with the exception of Barbarians who throughout history did not triumph and they will not and must not be allowed that opportunity now. If you truly want to see a peaceful solution in the Middle East you must work to create that solution without fear and contribute to that solution. Lisa Cohen Loew and Daniel Bernard are doing so as evidenced by their actions. Take a cue from both of them and contribute towards peace in the Middle East vs promulgating words of hatred. There is no easy solution here. Staying quiet and not standing up is certainly not an acceptable option. The world should be grateful for the efforts of Lisa Cohen Loew and Daniel Bernard and I pray for them and peace in the Middle East.
