Is entrepreneurship the ONLY path for pharmacist patient-advocates?
NO.
Folks: Healthcare, especially PHARMACY practice, is in turmoil.
There’s a long list of challenges:
✅ AI
✅ Pay & staff cuts
✅ Hostile work environments…etc.
And yet I choose to focus on OPPORTUNITIES!
I believe this is the PERFECT time for more pharmacists to envision what our practice experience could & will be!💯
To take the opportunity to reimagine & improve the patient experience from all touch points.
So, while I chose to go the entrepreneurial route, there are ample “intraprenurial” paths within organizations and your existing care/ practice settings.
This is an “all hands on deck” moment in the profession🙌
So I invite you to tonight’s Advocacy Accelerator Roundtable, sadly not on my boat (wouldn’t that be awesome🤗), on Zoom.
Join Dr. Asha Pai Bohannon, PharmD, CDCES, CPT & me as we explore Patient Advocacy: logistics, obstacles, and opportunities to reconnect with our patients and create systems & services that enhance the patient-clinician experience.

1mo🌟 What a fantastic opportunity, Mark! It's inspiring to see such dedication to advancing molecular testing and precision medicine at #ASCO24. Quest Diagnostics clearly continues to lead the way in responsible patient care. The collaboration between leaders in patient advocacy and your team is crucial for these advancements. I'm curious, were there any particular challenges or breakthroughs discussed that could shape the future of oncology? How do you see these developments impacting patient care strategies in the short term? Thank you for sharing your experiences, and congratulations on a successful event! Looking forward to hearing more about your insights. 🦢 Shine on 🫶
