Coming off the heels of New York Fashion Week, where we had the pleasure of filming the Christian Siriano show — Paris Fashion Week has arrived here in Europe. Paris Fashion Week is style, elegance, and innovation. As fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals eagerly anticipate the latest trends from the world's top designers, creative production companies play a pivotal role in capturing and conveying the magic of this iconic event. From the catwalks of historic venues like the Louvre and the Palais Garnier to the intimate showrooms of emerging designers, Paris Fashion Week 2023 is a whirlwind of glamour, innovation, and storytelling. The Role of Production Companies: 1. Capturing the Essence: Fashion week comes and goes like a whirlwind. When capturing a runway show, for example, time and space is limited. Fashion cinematographers take up their small amount of real estate at the shows and capture the best shots in a very limited amount of time. Today, fashion is not just about clothing — it's about storytelling, artistry, and emotion. Production companies are tasked with capturing the essence of each runway show and presentation. Through skilled cinematography and production, we can bring to life the intricate details of the garments, the grace of the models, and the ambiance of the location. The goal is to transport viewers into the designer's world and the world of the city. 2. Live Streaming and Virtual Audiences: Fashion week has embraced live streaming to connect with a worldwide audience, with production companies leading the way to deliver impeccable and captivating broadcasts. They achieve this by seamlessly integrating live footage with pre-recorded content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage, offering virtual attendees a comprehensive event experience. 3. Social Media and Short-Form Content: Fashion Week isn't confined to the runway; it's a 360-degree experience with many different creative concepts in play. Often times shorter form content is needed to capture social media attention as well as the attention of attendees. Production companies can assist with both, creating a more holistic approach to capturing the event. The Intersection of Fashion and Technology: Paris Fashion Week 2023 is a testament to the synergy between fashion and technology. Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences, 360-degree video, and interactive live streams are reshaping how fashion is consumed and experienced. Production companies are at the forefront of these innovations. As Paris Fashion Week 2023 unfolds, the world's eyes turn to Paris. The fashion industry's ability to reinvent itself, embrace technology and sustainability efforts, and transcend boundaries is inspiring to us. Behind the scenes, production companies are at work, weaving the narratives, capturing the moments, and bringing the magic of fashion to screens around the world. Photo Marni x Courtesy of Marni

CGI is Transforming the Advertizing Industry Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) and Visual Effects (VFX) are crucial elements in modern media, including films, television, video games, and virtual reality, transforming the way stories are told and experiences are delivered.

This is unacceptable* I saw a recently posted Senior Graphic Designer role, and I was astonished by the extensive requirements. Designers are specialized, not tried to master everything. Companies should stop expecting all-in-one employees; greatness requires a collaborative team effort. Expecting one person to excel at everything is unrealistic and diminishes potential greatness. Creative Directors and hiring managers, reconsider these expectations for a more realistic and effective approach.

I don't have clothes to wear🥺🥺 It's Chidi's birthday and Agbomma was supposed to be at the birthday party but a few hours before the start of the party, Agbomma calls Chidi and informs him that she won't be able to make it to the party as she doesn't have what to wear. A confused Chidi couldn't understand what Agbomma meant by "I don't have what to wear" because he knew her too well and last he checked, Agbomma had a closet filled with the latest designs of clothes. Agbomma's problem was that she had too many clothes, so, picking an outfit was confusing. You see, your users are like women when you give them too many options, they become confused and take forever to make a choice, that's why when designing, you have to limit the number of calls to action you give your users so that they don't end up confused. Are you looking for a passionate designer to join your team, I'm open to entry-level, intern, or volunteer roles. According to the video, something is wrong with giving your users too many options and leaving them confused. #productdesigner #productdesign #uiuxdesigner #uiux #10daysofdesignwithkay #day10of10daysofdesignwithkay

https://lnkd.in/dXaHXwRU Hello, friends! 😃 It's been a while since I last posted. Right now, I'm fully immersed in the "Fairytale Fashion Show 12" project. It's going to be a grand event featuring 12 designers, each of whom will present 12 shows involving 144 models 🔥 The women's clothing brand AG, with which I collaborate, is also taking part. My top priorities: 1. Creating a promotional video for the AG brand to announce their participation. 2. Preparing a promo video to announce the entire show 😎 I can't share many of the resources I'm working with just yet, but the promotional video I've created for AG is already gaining lots of views, so I'm excited to share it with you. Soon, I'll be visualizing the entire process for my Behance portfolio, and I'm hoping to find more time for social media finally. 🤓 In my work, I've employed the following disciplines: - Motion design - Illustration - Graphic design - Sound design Tools used: - Photoshop - Midjourney - Movavi - GPT chat - After Effects (AE) - Illustrator - Voice I hope you will enjoy it. #FashionShow #Designers #Models #PromoVideo #Fashion #CreativeWork #Collaboration #Portfolio #GraphicDesign #MotionDesign #Illustration #SoundDesign

Brands Wrap Themselves in CGI Through innovative campaigns, brands like #barbie , Maybelline New York and JACQUEMUS went viral by placing CGI representations in real world settings. Now The North Face, a VF Company joined their ranks by virtually wrapping London’s Big Ben. Such spectacles command attention by placing branding in unexpected, shareable ways. But beyond publicity, what deeper conversations do they catalyze? As issues like sustainability take center stage, do impactful stunts meaningfully represent corporate values? The North Face is renowned for outdoors passion, yet covering a landmark risks appearing detached from this mission. Going forward, how can creativity spark discussion around what companies truly stand for rather than shallow gestures? As novelty fades, will impact wane if every brand copies this template? Marketers shoulder responsibility beyond products. If virtual campaigns don’t further debate around a brand’s mission, could a disconnect emerge over time between words and facts? The future may lie in fusing purpose with high production values. When spectacles spur open conversation of relevant issues, viral potential could prove an enduring asset. But if not, novelty alone risks appearing shallow without authentic connection to what consumers care about. Can creativity both captivate and catalyze discussion of topics like sustainability? Or is deeper alignment between message and medium needed for long term impact beyond ephemeral buzz? As brands wrap themselves in CGI, what conversations really matter? #thenorthface #bigben #cgi #oohadvertising #esg #purpose #maybelline #barbie
