I love the word 'manifesto'.... it implies you're trying to manifest something in the world. Something important. Any manifestation requires a movement, and wow are we proud of ours at FP. Huge thanks to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and used what's in their hands to get this 4x4 project funded so quickly! 💥💥 85K raised in 13 days 💥💥 At a time in our world where there's so much to despair about, being part of and contributing to something meaningful like this not only transforms our Tanzanian teams and the women they serve... ... but we're transformed in the process too! Loved the way Dr Jemma King put language to this truth in her recent chat with Dominic Price: "When you're stressed, find someone more stressed than you, and help them." As the second wave of coronavirus was spreading across his country in 2020, and there was grief, despair, and death everywhere around him, Senthilkumar Bala taught me a huge lesson about resilience. Find a way to help others, and you'll find yourself feeling more self-sufficient in the process. Service as an antidote to anxiety. Response vs reaction.
