🏳️🌈 Pride Month at Mark Allen 🌈 To celebrate Pride Month, our MA Pride network hosted an incredible Picnic! A successful event that brought the office together to celebrate inclusivity and enjoy some no-secco (non-alcoholic prosecco), a variety of soft drinks, and plenty of pizza and treats for everyone. The MA Pride network is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring that everyone, especially those from the LGBTQ+ community, feels heard and valued. This commitment isn't just for Pride Month, MA Pride at Mark Allen is available to our employees 365 days a year. All from the #LGBTQ+ community alongside allies, are welcome to join our network. It was a wonderful day filled with sun, laughter, connection, and, of course, a cheeky slice or two! 🍕✨ Thank You 💗 to our wonderful co-chairs Samuel Mason and Suzannah Allkins Were you there? What an incredible day! It is really important to highlight that while we support #pridemonth we support pride EVERY month. Our absolutely brilliant co-chairs Suzannah Allkins and Samuel Mason constantly come up with inclusive and new ideas along with the MA Pride network to make sure this community is celebrated and visible across Mark Allen January through to December - great work team 🏳️🌈
Echoing sentiments congratulating the co-chairs for organising the event. Here's to many more. :)
A great lunch! Looking forward to more 🌈
It was so lovely to bring so many of our colleagues together, we hope you all had a wonderful time! Happy Pride Month everyone! 🌈

1moThank you to MA Pride network and, above all, Samuel Mason and Suzannah Allkins for their hard work in organising all of the pride events during the course of the last year. It was fantastic that so many colleagues were able to join us at the picnic last week. I think back to my career in law (many years ago now!) when I worked with a friend and colleague, who, after over a year of sharing a small office with him, built up the courage over a drink one evening to tell me he was gay. I was the first person he had come out to. He was shaking when he told me - not, he reassured me, because he was worried about my reaction, but because it was much more unusual back then to be one’s authentic self in the workplace. I am genuinely proud that we are able to celebrate inclusion within our company and colleagues don’t have to hide their true self as my friend did all those years ago.
