In the room's ambient hum, my presence echoes not with a boast of being the pinnacle, but rather resonates with the trust vested in me. It's not about self-proclamation; it's about the collective confidence you, my team, bestow upon my shoulders. In your eyes, I am not merely a figurehead but a catalyst, precisely the person for this pivotal moment in the company's journey. This faith isn't taken lightly. It's an acknowledgment of the responsibility that comes with leadership, a recognition that my actions influence not just the trajectory of the company but the aspirations of those who follow. This support isn't just a testament to your professional dedication; it's a pledge of commitment to the shared vision we pursue. The awareness that, in the face of uncertainty, I can turn to a team bound by common goals, is a formidable source of confidence. It transforms challenges into opportunities, adversity into shared resilience. In this symbiotic relationship between leadership and followership, the strength isn't unilateral; it's reciprocal. Your commitment and belief in me becomes the bedrock upon which I can stand firm. It's a mutual understanding that in our collective strength lies the power to overcome obstacles and steer the company towards its next phase of evolution. This shared strength is not just a luxury but a necessity, a vital force that propels us forward in unison. In the midst of this collective belief, I draw a profound strength as your leader. It's an acknowledgment that I don't stand alone but rather at the forefront of a united force, each member an integral part of the team's fabric. The strength I derive is not just from personal capabilities but from the assurance that, in every challenge and triumph, I can rely on the unwavering support of each team member. Thank you for believing...

This post from Julie Bale resonates strongly with me and I was compelled to build on her message with my own thoughts. https://lnkd.in/grUufqnX We are wired to pause and recognise the contribution of others as part of celebrating success. When recognition and appreciation is genuinely offered in the face of setbacks or undesired events, its value can be felt as exponentially greater. Success can be its own reward - enough to fuel our pursuit of further success. An underlying culture of recognition and appreciation can be the very fuel we need to keep striving - not only when we succeed but also in the face of setbacks and challenge. Responding to adversity is a deeply individual journey. It is also part of our collective human experience. As leaders I believe we have a duty of care to nurture wellbeing and resilience - because despite the rise of the robots and the birth of AI, people are still at the heart of success in almost every industry I can imagine. Thankyou for sharing these powerful insights Julie 🙏🏻

"Perhaps some teachers are rejecting fidelity for good reason" In the battle for consistency, sometimes autonomy can be a casualty. And often on the frontline of that tension are middle leaders. As Jon Hutchinson sums up in the latest Middle Leadership Essentials article below, while we need consistency in organisations, we also need to know when to let someone get on with it the way that works best for them. That's the real skill of the middle leader - knowing when to push fidelity and when not to. So that's why it is the topic of our latest guide: have a read below! https://lnkd.in/edVktSxX

Learned of a new holiday today 😊 Everyone that’s managed a team aspires to not just be a boss, but to be a leader that is respected by their team. Respect is not something that comes from sitting higher up in the org chart. It comes from understanding, empathizing, and genuinely caring for the well-being of every team member. It's about being present, listening, and being there to support them when they need it most. A lot of effort, time, and thought goes into managing a team successfully in this day and age. It’s not just about giving instructions and meeting deliverables; it’s about creating an environment where those in the team and those who interact with the team can thrive and excel. It's about fostering a culture of collaboration, where every member's strengths are acknowledged and contributions celebrated. It's about not only getting the job done but also enjoying the journey and positively influencing each other to do better. These kind words by Imad Dounia are a nice reminder of why I come into work every day. Imad, I appreciate your words, and it's an honor to be a part of a team that's not just about work but about growth, camaraderie, and creating a positive impact. Let's keep striving for excellence together! 🙌 #Leadership #Teamwork #BossAppreciation #WorkplaceCulture #PositiveImpact #ProfessionalGrowth

With gratitude... As we bid farewell to 2023, I find myself immersed in reflections of an incredible journey. This year has been a blend of personal and professional growth, enriched by invaluable connections and insights I've gained. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every one of my newsletter subscribers, followers, and LinkedIn network. Your engagement, feedback, and support have been the bedrock of my thought leadership journey, making it both rewarding and enriching. A special acknowledgment to those who have profoundly impacted my year: Graham Riley: Your insightful feedback and thoughtfulness have been invaluable. Cathy Veri: Your collaboration on projects has opened new horizons for me. Your role as a positive sounding board and consistent encouragement have been instrumental. Jesse Itzler: Your innovative ideas, like the Big A&& Calendar, reminders to send thank you's, and your daily thoughts have significantly reinforced my views and approach. Andrew Ng: The AI/ML/DL courses you offer have been enlightening. I have integrated these learnings into my daily work and it has been transformative. What’s your fav accomplishment? What’s your least fav chore? My son’s school sent these questions (+ 18 more) home to answer about our kids and see how well we know them—as part of their health unit. We turned it into a family exercise to all answer about each other because I personally feel it’s also important for kids to learn to listen and get to know their parents. I asked them the 2nd question and they were like ooooh your LEAST favorite chore? Ooooh I don’t know. I said I do it almost every night. They said: read? Me: Nope I love reading. Before that. I do it after work. For you. Them: After work? For us? They guessed eventually lol. It’s cooking. I’m so over cooking. Moms do like a billion things and many feel thankless. You know who else does a whole bunch of thankless things? CEOs. Thank you to mine—Stacy Havener for: Leading Encouraging Investing in Profit sharing Learning Pivoting Losing sleep (And that’s just your average Wednesday) (Often thankless) traits of good leaders of a firm and a family. You’re both. 💖

As we start the new financial year, wishing everyone a lots of positivity, hope and lots of success and happiness going forward. Gratitude to all the stakeholders for making a wonderful year at @ Nature Savior Private Limited across all our business units. Lots of new partnerships, new initiatives and challenges which has helped us all to become better professionals and humans. My advise to all the professionals / leaders managing teams 1) Be compassionate Over the last few years having gone through so much uncertainty and unprecedented situations, be aware that some of your colleagues are still going through the after affect, give them the benefit of doubt , be a good listener and be compassionate about each other feelings 2) Focus on training teams Unlearning and adaptability will be the key differentiators in the next decade, leaders who will be creating an environment for their teams to focus on learning new skills, focusing on digitalisation and self improvement will have a great key advantage 3) Empower , Empower and Empower If you are creating followers, you are not creating a legacy: that’s not leadership. Leadership is about empowering teams and trusting them to make them the right choice. Hire right talent, empower and just TRUST. Once again have a great year. Have fun. A big thank you once again to all my team for their continuous love and support.
