In Dr. Anthony Fauci’s new book, “On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service,” he shares why he decided to enter into the path of public service and how he has kept his head held high even through the scary times. A great book that uncovers today's need to work in global health development while keeping in mind those hidden concepts that affect such development. The book presents concepts that are of great value to adopting an inclusive mindset especially when looking for partnerships and new ventures to impact the health of populations in need. Power is a big concept that requires conceptualizing those aspects that deeply hinder development, but yet remain unfolded. Power requires determined change which must not succumb to the needs of those in position to control or manipulate population needs just because they own the bread and butter. An infinite mindset when collaborating is needed for bringing about powerful global health development, but with caution and great awareness. Thanks for making this an open source book #globalhealthdevelopment

Here are the last 3 books I read. Highly recommend them all. 💡Being Mortal How we die is an uncomfortable topic that we tend to avoid. This book digs into what really matters at the end, and the impossible choices between dying with dignity and life extension. Very powerful. 💡Outlive Once you normalise for the infectious diseases that modern medicine has helped to eliminate, it’s surprising to see how little lifespan has changed over the past 50-100 years. The strategies in this book might not only help us live longer, but live better. 💡Breath Breathing is something we take for granted. Who knew that 90% of us might be doing it incorrectly and that this is leading to a range of chronic diseases!? Great read on the “lost art of breathing” and how you can rediscover it. What’s on your reading list?
