It was an honor to attend the Go Red for Women Luncheon and learn more about such an important cause. Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women. Proud that CVS Health supports the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement empowering women to take charge of their heart health. The Grand Opening of our new store 11509 in Miami was EPIC! The community came together to celebrate with music, raffles, cafecitos, pastelitos, lechón, and dominós while getting to know the new team. As a fourth-generation pharmacist, I'm proud to continue my family's legacy and inspire others to join this fulfilling profession. Pharmacy is a career where you become a patient advocate, providing the most accessible healthcare, especially in community pharmacy. My great grandfather, grandfather, mom, husband, sister, and daughter (5th generation) all shared the same love of helping people and improving quality of life. I'm grateful to CVS Health for giving me the opportunity to participate in a Career Profiling Video. It was exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time!
