Protecting you by removing your fear about divorce and helping you maximize your money and time with your kids
I love practicing against really a skilled, smart opposing counsel. In fact, the smarter OC is, the easier (and more fun) the case tends to be. It's when you practice against an unskilled, dumb OC, that things get tremendously difficult and tiresome.
The worst part is dealing with incompetent opposing counsel who are too arrogant to recognize it.
Dealing with a self representing litigant could also be as frustrating as an unskilled opposing oc
Only thing worse is a pro se defendant who is choosing to be such because they are smarter than the public "pretender" (their words, not mine) or some "over-educated college graduate" (ie attorney)
Sometimes the dangerous OC is the one with no idea what they’re doing.
by “unskilled, dumb” OC do you mean someone with a low-average IQ or language processing speed? or do you mean someone without the experience to have developed the knowledge and skills you learned over your 17 years of practice?
Kind of like any rivalry in life. It's more fun and riveting when you are actually going against someone worthy of valor
I've always felt the same way. No bigger headache than someone out of their element with an irrational level of confidence.
Absolutely agree. I always hated trying to answer an unintelligible complaint.
The smarter the Oc the more we do hardwork .👍
