Dear LinkedIn, This must be the best paper I have ever written, a first combining an integrated theoretical framework and coupling it to the realities of EU policy-making on the European Integrated Border Management-communication by the DG Home, who unfortunately have obstructed its completion with various excuses and echappatoire and legal loopholes for reasons outside my influence. I shall be able to draw my reader's attention to an important topic: how to best protect the EU's borders, strengthen governance, solve political problems, and move the EIBM regime forward. Migration is in the top 3 of voter's concerns after the cost of living, the environment, and before the international situation. integrating EBM into the migration pact is logical and universally practiced in various regions worldwide. As the system works at present, it is likely to fail in the tasks put to it by the political leaders of the EU. Hungarian-Ukrainian border. Picture from the Hungarian side of the border Unblocking the border between Ukraine and the EU’s border is the most important task of the near future. After problems at the Polish and Slovak borders, part of the carriers rushed to Ukraine through Hungary, resulting in the overload of the checkpoints. The whole situation, to be brief, points to the following obvious problems: - deliberate politicization by certain political groups in Eastern European countries of trade and economic relations with Ukraine, which, incidentally, was not the case a year ago. That is, the change of position of European countries is directly related to the change of political ruling groups and mood after the recent elections in Poland and Slovakia; - the inability of transboundary infrastructure and logistics to handle high loads and volumes of cargo. This problem (which is of a long-standing nature) in view of the increasing flow of cargo will only get worse if concrete political steps are not taken.

Is border security a cost or an investment? Let's delve into the conversation. The concept of border security often stirs debates, but have we ever paused to consider its economic implications? Is it truly a drain on our resources, or could it possibly be an untapped avenue for socio-economic gains? Many see the task of securing our borders as a fiscal burden. However, as a former Border City Mayor and the Chief of Staff of Customs and Border Protection, I view this from a different lens - not just as a cost but an incredibly critical investment. Border security isn't merely about walls or fences; it's about integrating technology, utilizing human intellect, and creating infrastructures that lead to seamless trade and commerce. This approach not only fortifies our borders but also fosters economic growth. Instead of viewing border security as an expenditure, let's shift the paradigm and see it as an engine for growth. A safe, secure border is beneficial not just for national security but also for strong international trade relationships. What do you think? Share. Update on the Situation at the Border with Poland 🚛🌐 Unfortunately, the blockade of the Ukrainian-Polish border persists, and as of the morning of December 7th, nearly three thousand trucks are waiting in queues. The situation remains tense, but we want to share the positive steps that have already been taken: 1️⃣ The Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv crossing point has been reopened, creating a new route for the transportation of goods. 2️⃣ In accordance with agreements with the European Commission and the Polish Government, measures have been implemented to resolve the conflict. We understand that this is a challenging situation for all participants in the logistics chain. However, we would like to emphasize that a resolution to the misunderstanding is underway, and together we will soon ensure smooth border crossings again.
