“Taking the show on the road” was taken quite literally recently by GE HealthCare.🚌 Instead of trying to convince visitors to come to a website or give up a significant amount of time to come see a live demonstration, they brought the activation to the audience. Via a bus that brought patient care teams across the country. 🗺️ 🇺🇸 All this was done to demonstrate the FlexAcuity patient monitoring systems. Making stops in 23 cities, visitors were able to follow virtually the journey of “Sarah,” a fictional patient through a uniquely engaging personalized experience. It’s extremely relatable as you follow Sarah entering the hospital, making a stop in the emergency room before quickly being moved to the operating room for a surgical procedure. Post-op she is progressed through a critical care environment, then to a medical-surgical floor before being released out of the hospital to go home healthy. The bus allowed GEHC to reach a larger cross section of healthcare professionals (HCPs), like doctors, nurses and technicians. These are folks that might not normally be able to attend a healthcare conference or event - due to budget constraints or 1 - 2 department heads being chosen to go. The biggest win (in my opinion) is that care teams could continue to focus on caring for patients without having to sacrifice significant time away - from their duties or their personal lives. The conversations garnered and the ability to touch, feel, and learn about the innovation made this such an exceptional experience. So much so that a second tour leg is being planned. This is a stellar example of knowing your audience. Flexibility and the human element of this campaign cut through and really moved the target demographic. #healthcareinnovation #healthcaremarketing #activation

From global insights to local impact. Accessing precision medicine remains unevenly distributed across nations and medical conditions. Even within countries where precision medicine is available, some patients do not receive adequate access, facing barriers due to various factors. These include for example limited education and awareness, systemic obstacles within healthcare systems, or lack of access to testing. One of our community's focuses this year has been the Country Pilots Program. Led by local teams of experts and patient organizations with a shared passion for change, these initiatives aim to fill the gaps in precision medicine access. With the support from the FT3 community, these pilots are uncovering local barriers and refining tools that can work across different healthcare settings. 🇪🇸🇭🇺 Spain and Hungary have been proudly pioneering the first two lung cancer-focused Country Pilots, fostering an environment of shared learning and growth along the way.
