We are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring this years Touch #Rugby World Cup in #Nottingham. The event will be a World First: #Hydrogen Powered Touch Rugby World Cup. The event will consist of 23 fields spread across two venues for seven days. The 2024 edition will by far and away be the biggest ever, with c.190 teams representing 40-plus nations from every continent. Such an event would normally require the use of #diesel generators to supplement mains #electricity supply. However, thanks to a unique partnership with GeoPura the carbon dioxide #emissions of the 2024 Touch World Cup will be reduced by 6.6 tonnes. Unlike a traditional generator, GeoPura’s green #hydrogen #generators are fuelled by pure hydrogen gas, which has been created with #renewable #energy.
