Delving into advanced topics without mastering the basics leads to complications. Keep it simple: optimize existing capabilities before implementing advanced features. I had the opportunity to spend time with Manik Saha, a colleague from Stanford University Graduate School of Business who is the Managing Director at SAP Singapore. During a quick coffee chat, we discussed the importance of continual learning and improving skills using current systems. He emphasized that much remains unknown, illustrating this with examples, and underscored the critical need to fully utilize existing resources. The rapid pace of technological advancements necessitates constant learning and adaptation. Focus on mastering the basics and optimizing what you have before venturing into advanced technologies.
