Ops leaders and consultants.. How do you go about getting conversations with potential buyers of your services? The traditional sales approach eats my soul and gives me the heebie-jeebies.. Referrals have always been my best friend even when I was looking for jobs. Now that I’m running a business I have to be a sales person and I’m struggling. HARD. I’m only looking to get one client at the moment. Know anyone needing a Salesforce Admin to help maintain , optimize, and/or manage their Salesforce CRM processes? #help #struggling #salesforceadministrator

You’ll never build a sales dream team unless you fix this: So, imagine this. You’ve hired a bunch of A+ sales rockstars. They’re ready to hunt down prospects, nurture your warm lists and solidify new business. But there’s just one little problem. They currently have to: → Enter data manually → Research and click around for 15 mins per lead So as a result, they waste hours per day on tasks that don’t move the needle. They could be doing phone calls, answering emails, hopping on Zoom calls… But instead, they’re spending almost half their day on manual entry. You can’t blame them for poor performance. It’s your system that’s the bottleneck. You have a say in the matter. You can delegate data entry to entry-level employees. You can automate repetitive tasks in your CRM. You can hire a Salesforce consultant to streamline these processes. But one thing for sure... You either automate, delegate or stagnate. The choice is yours. Thanks for reading. Enjoyed this post? How To Think Like A Salesforce Admin.... Every person that works in the Salesforce industry knows the importance of how sales uses opportunities. After all, sales is the lifeblood of all companies, and the software they use to manage these sales is critical. If the opportunities are not managed correctly in their stages, all hell breaks loose. Check out our article were we explain how to think like an Admin when configuring a company's Salesforce instance. https://lnkd.in/gyzscVtr

RevOps Strategist📈Sprocketeer Community Manager📣Host of the SprocketPod Show🎤Your CRM Data Has A Story To Tell💥
I was a fan of Salesforce as a sales rep. In fact, when you're in sales you only really care about making money and crushing your job so WHICH crm you use usually isn't a concern. Sales reps accept their job offer and then learn the software. For an established company with dedicated sf admin who can build a killer instance this can be okay... But what if you don't have a dedicated sf admin? You're pretty screwed if you have Salesforce. No, seriously, Salesforce is hard to learn and I have a massive amount of respect for Salesforce admin. And that's why smaller businesses (who can't afford $200k/yr for 1-2 ft sf admin) are better sticking with HubSpot. It's just easier to use. It's easier to learn. It's just as powerful. HubSpot admin can get SO MUCH done because of how simple it is starting off. Yeah, you can build a killer instance with custom objects and other intricate elements. But it's better to start clean and build what you need. I'm pretty biased and you probably are too. Orange v Blue Where do you fall on the spectrum?

Post 7 of 12! 🎄 🎄 Being in a sales role, I always appreciate tools that make me as productive as possible. After a year at Salesforce and in honor of one of my favorite holiday songs, I’ll be sharing my 12 favorite features of Salesforce (in no particular order) throughout the next few weeks. I talked about field editing in reports the other day, but in general I just love reports in Salesforce. Everyone digests information differently and I can be particular with the way I want to view data. It’s very easy to build my own reports or copy someone else’s and make edits based on my preferences. My favorite report (which I created in just a few minutes) is super simple and helps me stay up to date with my opportunities. I can sort by expected close date, make sure I’ve logged recent activity and I can edit next steps directly from the report!

#immediate hiring!! Title: #Business #Admin Location: #Remote Duration: Long Term Job Description: Operations background experience Sales Ops experience Reporting or Excel experience would be highly preferred Preference for native English speaker, or if not a native English speaker, ability and/or experience to lead a conversation with leadership on par with a native English speaker. Does not submit a 6 page resume; it is widely known that resume etiquette is 2 pages; if they are unaware of that fact or incapable of being concise in describing their experience then they are missing an important level of professionalism. Salesforce experience, (does not have to be at the Sales Admin level), might actually be better if their SF experience is closer to user. Our profile designation is for ‘Business Admin’ We are not involved in back end Salesforce Administration. We do not deal with SF requirements, and we do not reconfigure how SF works for end users. This position does not require a Certified Salesforce Administrator. We have permissions above the average User, and we can make edits to accounts or profiles, we can control what our end users have access to from a data perspective, not from a platform perspective. Please share updated resume at Crystal@americanunit.com

How to eliminate risk and greatly reduce your sales costs? Recently I came across a couple of sales roles, both offering commission only. The roles included training/onboarding and provided full support for the sales executive to perform. Kind of a symbiotic arrangement. With that the sales executive would need an entity or a means of invoicing the employer or in this case client. It got me thinking. A business could potentially have a much greater salesforce, one where there is much less risk of non-performance (as those who don't make numbers don't get paid) and one which overall costs less. Barriers to talent and geography would be eliminated. Remote work wouldn't be a liability as each salesperson would be a separate entity and whilst the burden on accounts payable would increase, the savings I feel would outweigh the costs. This might not work for all, but it is an interesting approach which could solve the supply gap for sales roles and enable businesses to identify and engage top performers. I can think of a number of software & tech brands I'd be happy to work for on this basis. What do you think? #recruitment #salesforce #sales #onboardingprocess
