On May 8, 2023, Maya Chollet, journalist and Mammut ambassador from Vaud/Switzerland, performed an extraordinary act of bravery on her way back from work. Hearing cries from the banks of the Arve river in Geneva, she rushed to find a man and woman struggling in the water. Without hesitation, she plunged into the icy river, fully clothed, to save them from the strong current. For her exceptional bravery, Maya received the gold medal from the International Rescue Society of Lake Geneva, the St. Christoph Medal from the Swiss Life-Saving Society, and the Medal of Honor from the International Carnegie Foundation. Maya's story is a powerful reminder of the impact one person can make. Her courage and compassion inspire us all to act decisively in critical moments. Maya rises above challenges with strength and determination, showing us all what true bravery means. Thank you, Maya Chollet! #RiseWithTheMountain
