Can we have multiple missions in life? I ask because we've seen people like Mother Teresa or George Muller devote their entire lives to ONE mission. Conversely, Erik Liddell the infamous Scottish Olympic record-breaking track champion returned to China a year after the Olympics to do missionary work with his father yet he continued to compete in track. DUAL missions. My personal answer is YES!! We can have dual missions in life while we celebrate those who have a lifelong passion toward one specific mission. Neither one is the perfect right solution. We must follow what WE'RE called to do and be faithful and diligent in that calling. Mine is two-fold: 1) helping sports and business professionals write, publish, and promote their books AND 2) to help women find wholeness and healing within the emotional devastation of relationship deception. Do we have any Count Of Monte Christo, Le Comte de Monte-Cristo fans here? It is a beautiful book about hope, honor, and the power of love. Chateau d’If is a special place for me. Despite that it was a prison (also political prisoners, hoping for justice from the fade) it is a symbol of hope as well. Even though the person of Count Of Monte Christo is fictional, undoubtedly history knew many real prisoners, political prisoners, and also metaphorical prisoners, victims of the systems or intrigues, who were innocent and seek for truth and justice. The history of the Monte Christo tells, us that it is important to stay noble and faithful to your principles, no matter what. The Château d'If is a fortress located on the Île d'If, the smallest island in the Frioul archipelago, situated about 1.5 kilometers offshore from Marseille in southeastern France. Built-in the 16th century, it later served as a prison until the end of the 19th century. The fortress was demilitarized and opened to the public in 1890. It is famous for being one of the settings of Alexandre Dumas's adventure novel The Count of Monte Cristo. The fortress soon became a virtually inescapable prison due to its location and the fast-moving currents that rendered even the strongest swimmers unable to make the 1,500m swim.

Freemasonry exists to inculcate values in a good man to make him a better person. For 300 years we have existed and over this period, some Freemasons have stood taller than others. Not only for their masonic virtues but for the huge contributions they left in society which contributions to Education, Science and the Arts continue to aid, benefit, influence and inspire long after these people were gone. A few star mason names come to mind: Sir Benjamin Franklin, Sir Winston Churchill, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Nelson Mandela, George Washington, Buzz Aldrin, King George VI,Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and H.R.H. Prince Philip. There are hundreds of others whose knowledge, skills or orchestrations contributed to Humanity in significant ways, not including the billions donated to worldly and worthy philanthropic causes benefitting mostly the sick, poor and vulnerable members of our societies. But still, speculation based on figments of fertile imagination often leads others to believe in ficticious narratives and old wives tales that have been spun for so long that they begin to, paradoxically, stand as an imaginary Truth. Just because we dont share our traditions, customs or details of our lessons on the philosophy of Life in the public domain, doesn't mean our conspiracy theorists are right. Some topics ought to be left to be discussed only by those in the know.
