What an incredible event and experience at #HRConnect Toronto! Congratulations to the entire SAP SuccessFactors Canada team for delivering such a successful and impactful event. It's no surprise this team received the Line of Business of the Year award in January at #SAP #CSKOM. A special shoutout to Mark Mancuso, for his insightful opening and closing keynote. Mark rightly emphasized that "scheduling is a beast." I had the chance to speak to many organizations at the event, and a recurring theme was the complexity of scheduling. Scheduling sets the expectations by assigning shifts based on intricate union rules and employee agreements. Time and attendance, the output of this scheduling process, tracks actual hours worked to ensure compliance with those established schedules and agreements. Both systems must consider these complex rules to operate effectively and maintain legal compliance. Scheduling truly is a beast and a category of its own. If you get it wrong, no matter how strong your time system is, you'll still struggle. Josh Goslinerโs talk on SAP AI product strategy was another highlight of the event. His session showcased how AI is transforming workforce management, making it more efficient and reliable.
