The AI generated comments are giving me the ick. If you don't have a comment...don't make a comment. It's okay. LinkedIn is to be used, not "won". Just ask my buddy Richard Moore. He explains this better than any one. You cannot take attention to the bank. Stop trying to get it by any means necessary for no apparent reason. I like to honor as many of the thoughtful comments I get with a thoughtful response, whether that comment is a challenge or a cheer. What I don't like to waste time doing is reading a nonsensical comment devoid of contextual relevance 4 times in a row...only to realize it is AI generated and missing the mark. So you get a shortcut and expect the person who already wrote original copy to write more original copy in response to your shortcut? ........ ........ Nah.
And LI’s AI tags on bottom aren’t any better, honestly. “How many ways can we use impact, origin, contribution, and significance in a sentence?”
ALL 👏 OF 👏 THIS 👏 Thank you, YES. I cannot agree more that AI generated anything is not the way to win in service-based businesses, which at their core are all about relationship development. No one wants to develop a relationship with a robot facsimile of you. They want to talk to, and develop a relationship with, human you. If you’re trying to get people to know, like and trust you in order to some day give you their attention, time and/or money - do you really thinking starting with an obvious bot version of you is the way to make that happen? Big Nah 🚫
👏 Reminds me of college classes -when you’re required to respond to (3) classmates to receive full credit 🙃
Thank you thank you thank you
Could not agree more. It’s so cringey!! 😬
Also some of them are comedy gold though. I have also been having a giggle at a few…

“Nah.” Spot on!
I communicate so differently than others (those lovely multiple neurodiverse traits I’ve got) folks would know right away it was not me commenting if I used AI, snort.

2wAny time we choose to use AI comments, we're broadcasting: "I can't be bothered to interact, myself". Deep irony, given the same people then lament over having no individuals stepping forward to buy. Be present. A deep relationship starts with you actually being there. H2H > engagement rates Well said, Lola Bakare 👏
