'I distinctly remember sitting in our makeshift London office when we first launched and the early data coming in showed that listeners couldn’t get enough of the UK artist Coldplay. 'Just months later, the band were the first UK artists to reach over 1 million monthly streams. Today the love for British exports has only grown. 'Two of the three most-streamed tracks in the world are by British artists: Ed Sheeran (Shape of You) and Lewis Capaldi (Someone You Loved), which have a massive 6 billion streams between them. This hotel has never had a single guest, despite costing a whopping £1.6billion to build. Located in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang, Ryugyong Hotel was meant to welcome its first guests over 25 years ago. The hotel has been compared to 'Mordor' due to its pyramid-shaped structure and its standing in one of the most impoverished countries in the world. Construction on the hotel initially began in 1987 and - had it been completed on schedule two years later - it would have opened as the world's tallest hotel. Hamas's security forces chief is killed along with some of his family in Israeli airstrike on their house Jehad Mheisen, a key leader within Hamas, was killed in the airstrike on his home in Gaza, a Hamas-aligned news agency said, as the IDF continued to hit hundreds of targets across the enclave including tunnel shafts and command centres. The Captain Tom Foundation will be shut down when the Charity Commission investigation is over, the family's barrister has said. Barrister Scott Stemp confirmed the charity's future at a Planning Inspectorate hearing being held today to determine whether the family would have to demolish an unauthorised spa pool at their £1.2million home. ❓ Is your state pension about to rise? The state pension is in line for an 8.5 per cent rise after wages figures were unveiled today. The mooted hike for April is the consequence of the 'triple lock' mechanism - which means payments go to match the highest out of average earnings, inflation or 2.5 per cent.
