MST is a form of trauma and like others, there is a variety of reactions that someone can have in response to MST. The VA offers a wide range of available resources to those in need including designated MST Coordinators, apps, and treatment programs. Beyond MST is a free, secure, trauma-sensitive mobile app that was created specifically to support the health and well-being of supervisors of sexual assault or harassment during military servie. This app has over 30 specialized tools and other features to help those cope with any challenges, manage symptoms, improve their quality of life and find hope. It’s been a big month for #MissionDaybreak, a multiyear initiative to support the development of promising suicide prevention innovations. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs released its 2023 State of Innovation Report, featuring an update on VA’s support for program pilots and collaboration with winners of the $20 million grand challenge to reduce Veteran suicides.
