I recently made a poll here on LinkedIn to better understand the priorities of allied health clinicians when they're on the lookout for a new job and the results are in!
Here's how they voted:
🌟 Salary: 53%
🤝 Support: 29%
🏥 Caseload: 16%
🌍 Location: 7%
Insights:
Salary Reigns Supreme: It's clear that many allied health clinicians place a high importance on salary when considering job opportunities. The votes for this category highlight the significance of financial compensation in their decision-making process.
The Power of Support: It's essential to have a strong support system providing clinicians with opportunity to grow their skills, collaborate with others, receive supervision and shadowing to expand their clinical knowledge.
Balancing Caseload: Caseload seems to be the main priority for some. It's crucial to have a manageable caseload in their areas of preference that allows clinicians to provide quality care without being overwhelmed.
Location Matters, but Less So: Location is still a consideration, but it appears to be less of a priority compared to other factors. For many clinicians, it seems that other aspects of the job take precedence.
Thank you to all those who voted in the poll, it was very insightful!
