All good companies talk the innovation talk, but what happens when you walk the innovation walk? THIS! Last week, MAËLYS held its first-ever Innovation Day. For 14 hours, we mixed bold and brave ideas with passion, pace, and skill, and the whole office was buzzing. 💡 Let’s rewind. In May, we asked our talented employees to submit ideas that would move the needle on our business goals. The best 9 ideas were chosen, and following a lecture from the incredibly captivating Noam Feinholtz, PhD about how to pitch ideas to the judging panel, it was time for the big day. There was merchandise galore, competitive games, bagels for breakfast, pizza for dinner, and of course, hours of hard work from our 9 mini startups as we came together to bring our ideas to life. We did research, built prototypes, pivoted, iterated, pivoted (again), and then, late into the night, we were ready to pitch to the judging panel. While there could only be one winning team, the collaboration, dedication, and energy from this day soaked into the DNA and culture of MAËLYS.
