Wrapped up my last week with StockX on Friday. I have a lot of gratitude for the people and the culture I've been a part of the last few years. Some specifics: ⭐My leaders trusted me based on my willingness and drive to learn - I was given the opportunity to delve into product marketing and research without a formal background in either, and this allowed me to grow a more diverse skillset within customer experience. More than anything, I bring a thorough understanding and strategy for CX with me post-StockX, and I'm excited to see how I integrate my learnings in my new role, back in the world of operations and category management. ⭐ Joining StockX in late 2021, a wild ride ensued both macro-economically and within the resale market. The impact was felt throughout my team and beyond - this was novel for me after coming from Amazon. Working through this with my team and alongside my leaders drew a deep compassion into work that resonated strongly with me. ⭐This one is specific for my last direct manager Michael Parent - working with him helped me find my voice in research, a place I had longed to explore since college. Michael and I share a foundational appreciation for the art of learning, and he has a natural knack for the art of teaching; it's a gift to bring the empathetic space he fostered with me to my next role. With too many people to thank and be missed, a few in particular who will be felt in my butterfly effect going forward: Jacob Fenton, Anson Huang, Mattia Rinieri, Steffie Ko, Kam Safari, Vijay Sumal, Lizzie Kassab, Alexa Lappin, Samuel Aprile, Ray Panice, Alex Simmons, Audrey Rodriguez... Thank you!
A gift to this earth!! Missing your voice, creativity, and boundless joy already.
