I’m so energized by the the conversations so far here at Climate Week about the importance of the carbon market. A few key ideas more of us should echo include 1) carbon is an important mechanism to finance the climate transistion; 2) carbon credits are already deploying enforcable contracts delivering real solutions; and 3) those of us working on climate solutions should be working together rather than quibbling about which solutions are better. We need an all of the above approach that avoids emissions and removes carbon from the atmosphere. Markets can help - if we only let them.
