This mindset can help in identifying potential flaws and risks. However, it is similar to a two edge sword leading to unintended consequences such as delayed decision-making, preference to specific kind of inputs irrespective of their importance, and a lack of trust within the team. Balancing skepticism with open-mindedness and collaboration can be crucial to make progress in such situations.
