Ever wanted to have your life narrated like you're the star of National Geographic? Now you can. Here’s how this developer pulled it off: ✅ Open a video feed ✅ Python script screenshots the feed every few seconds ✅ That screenshot is sent to OpenAI with the prompt “You are Sir David Attenborough. Narrate the picture of the human as if it is a nature documentary. Make it snarky and funny. Don't repeat yourself. Make it short. If I do anything remotely interesting, make a big deal about it!” ✅ OpenAI API kicks back an output ✅ That output is fed to ElevenLabs as a script ✅ ElevenLabs converts the text script into an audio file that is read to the user ✅ Allie laughs and shares with over a million friends He also uses the voice of Larry David as his life coach. Adobe, the maker of Photoshop and Illustrator, is getting into...fashion? Not quite. But they just showed off some pretty fun flexible textile displays at Adobe Max this week, based on a research paper they released about a year ago. Responsive fashion design isn’t new (like the IBM Marchesa cognitive dress I shared 7 years ago). But Adobe Project Primrose has smart display fabric that allows for a programmable screen that’s ultra low power, reflective, modular, interactive, and flexible. The wearer can swap their style with the click of a button, so it’s not a fashion statement… it’s a fashion conversation 😉 What do you think?

🚨 BREAKING: 25 minutes ago, OpenAI announced that “ChatGPT can now see, hear, and speak.” This new model will be rolling out to users over next two weeks. ChatGPT Plus users will be able to have voice chats with ChatGPT (iOS & Android) and to include images in prompts in all conversations on all platforms. Some use cases to test (and not necessarily to trust!) here: ☑️ Submit an image of a broken device and user manual, ask how to fix it. ☑️ Submit an image of a bug that just bit you, ask what it is and what to do. ☑️ Submit an image of interior design, ask to describe the style and suggest a shopping list for you. ☑️ Submit an image of a website, ask how to improve it to be more action-oriented.
